  6. ok have yay installed the update 1.01 or something from the lucas arts site and have you set up the compatibilty mode, right click on the exe, properties, compatibilty, then change the it windows nt service pack, shoudl work alot better
  7. it was a joke dear oh dear
  8. i was never a big fan of it myself, then again i dont really like most rebel ships. On the note of cannnon ships, you could say the Dreadnought isnt, the VSD after all, they wernt made by Lucas
  9. basicly my good old friend calavan decided that it would be cool when to jedi characters meet up they could duel it out, and what better way than jk2, woud say jk3 but i dont have that for starts u dont need that that much, i mean you dont have to have a jedi character and you could always get somone else to do it for yay mate
  10. i hope that wasnt a quote from the evil Rebellion
  11. i wanna know what this thing about RebEd is cos its starting to worry me You dont need RebE type thing for the hw1 mod as its is alot smaller mate, trust me
  12. hey cool dude, you have a rough idea or is it when its done its done
  13. thats why you have support ships such as lancer frigates, nebulon B frigates (both types) i dont think anti fighter weaponary is a problem, remeber yes fighters can take it out, if its alone and unprepared, but you can take anything out is its alone and unprepared when you are prepared to take it, so that kina voids that example really, dont yay think, you also forgetting the ISD troop cap
  14. or contact me on msn, aim, icq, whatever takes your fancy dude
  15. you if you click the here under my sig it takes you to the forum.... or http://www.thegamingunion.co.uk/Forum/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=forum;f=12;DaysPrune=45 or http://www.tgu.org.uk/users/galactic
  16. no, but your forgetting when that ISD jumps out of space it can bring to bear alot more of it weapons to bear on a target that a MonCal can (well earlier designs) on a head one battle the ISD is gona win hand down, then you ahve the amount of support craft one can carry compared to a mon cal, i ahve alway reguarded Imperial pilots as better trained, why, well they dont do that bad considering fighters can only really take 1 hit, yeah you dont see X-wings rip them apart at the rate they should do *EDIT* talking about easy targets what about astrodroids on republic fighters, imperial ones that can hyper dont have these easy targets.
  17. basicly the hw1 engine is alot more limiting, you are restricted to replacing ships, and only certain ships can go into certain slots, he2 allows you to add as many ships and as many races as you can. hw1 mod is alot more complete, however there is only so much than can be done with hw1
  18. right easiest way is the join TGU and send a pm to a guy called calavan The game is more like rebellion. id say, you will require hw1 to play and jk2 (well thats not as inportant) basicly what you do is you build up your own little republic or imperial nation, sort out trade aggrements, have you wars and wuch with the near by players. the space battle are thought in hw using a star wars mod.
  19. aside the fact you can actualy move your ships in a 3d battlefield, attacking from above, below, head on, behind, the ships like the ISD being like 6000 polied unlike in rebellion anything else
  20. thats a sensor dome, not a shield, this has been stated on like 100 fan sites, the orignal idea was for shield domes, but every person on the planet decided this was stupid
  21. well thats how it is so
