I first thought it was kind of a stupid joke accomplished either by video sfx or sick genetic engineering, but as it appears to be real... cute!

I only saw the trailers of TF2, those were great I was browsing through Trek games today (wiki and so) I must say, most of them are highly disappointing. I've planned to play with one before/after my traditional KoTOR Christmas session, but no luck, they all suck I guess. Maybe Away Team, and the classic Final Unity are worth a try... But let's face it, ST is in very-very bad shape

Got my Asus Xonar D2 today. Quite an investment, but I don't plan to buy any soundcard in 5 years. I still can't believe what I hear on my little PC The difference between the Xonar and the integrated Realtek is just incredible. And I only tested it on a 2.1 Logitech system! I plan to buy some nice gear later next year, maybe a 7.1 set. I have to listen all to my mp3s again (yes even those sound better)

Before installing KOTOR I and Rebellion (worshiped games) I will clean up my machine, and I'm looking for some gadgets again. I was thinking about finding an alternative to Nero. Nero is a bit too much "user friendly" and it comes with lot of stuff I never use. Though I have a legal copy of Nero (shipped with dvd rom) I'm looking for a more intelligent software, that can replace it. Any ideas? I don't know about the freewares in this category.

WOO to Jahled!!!! Jedi Noghri is coming to town! I think we had a name for the little guy, I can't remember it though. We had the same weather today. It was sunny with up to 13 degrees outside. So when I take a look at Tex´avatar and mine, this year´s christmass-avatar style is not just wearing a cap, there also has to be some snow. I agree! Maybe I should update my avatar, hmmm. Still no snow over here:(

I like the Star Trek universe as much as Star Wars. In winter times, I often watch sci-fi stuff, lot of ST and SW, somehow it fits the season. You do need a DS to stop the borg Though a Jedi or Dark Jedi could try to use the force on them somehow

Like I wrote before, RR isn't causing it, must be something with XP's drivers. However, all the Function buttons are working (f1,f2..) while briefing, so you aren't totally paralyzed, you can check some information before the first day starts. This is a bug is to be found in the original game, has nothing to do with RR either.

I agree with J and E aswell. If you are in a country full of idiots, you should understand (maybe not respect, but try to understand) their primitive ways. Though, we, children of the "West" will never understand these people, rather conquer them first and try to force our liberal ways on their fundamentalistic system...

It's about tools, mods, upgrades, plug-ins, freewares you can get from the web. Please keep in mind, we don't support any form of warez on this site! I hope to see here some nice additions to my OS, browser or any other programs. If you post a link, please give atleast a brief information on the subject, explain why you recommend it. I found two great applications today: aMSN: Was originally made for Linux users, it's an open-source software, that uses the msn network. For Win users, it can be useful too, as it has a lot of nice plug-ins... AND... It can show you, which of your friends have blocked or deleted you! (nasty). I only had 2 blockings, both from SWR members!! http://www.amsn-project.net/ iGoogle: quite nice to set up my starting page with this. I always had the standard Google search for that purpose, but now it's highly customized.
