  1. Yeah, that looks a lot better now. Go with it, does anyone know if Greg has seen this?

Sounds better, its a great idea, i'm just not sure that it wouyld be very easy to implement, but then i dont know much about it, so you'd need to ask JediGreg
  3. Not sure i get the first bit, but i'm too tired to think, sorry. I definitely agree with your idea about retreating. It always used to annoy me that it automatically went to the nearest system, so now i make sure i never need to retreat!!!

A thirteen year old Force Lord - potential or what?! Avoid the dark side you must. Vulnerable you are.

Who, or what are the Delako.

Im sorry, i simply don't have the expertise or the experience to help with models. I'm very good at talking and making suggestions, just not too hot on the implementation. Sorry Igor

Nope, when i wrote it he was but a Leiutenant. Now, however, his posts have jumped up and he is a Commodore. So yes, he does look like a Commodore now, because he is.
  8. That's more or less what i meant, everything that will happen in the mod will be opposite to what happened in the first game. I don't think Greg's going to script anything, so it's up to us to decide what we want, and then make sure we haven't contradicted ourselves in the cards. i.e saying Luke's been to train with Joruus when in the game he hasn't yet.
  9. Homeworld. Nothing can beat it. Haegomania, or however you spell it does look very promising, but you're gonna need a v.high spec pc to run it at any quality.
  10. Pas du tout. Ce Venix, il est formidable, et tres amusant!!!
  11. Me? Cry? I think not!!! I'm macho i am. "sniffles" Nah 128*128 is okay, just be nice to bump it up a lil, make our mod nice and perty.
  12. Oooooh, now that would be sweet.... :0
  13. Heh, told ya!! Never doubt the power of the Force!!!
  14. Not that i know anything about this but is there not any way to bump it up a bit?
  15. Well, i think we should just pick a map and go with it. However, i only know of the maps in the NJO books. But there are other maps out there. Also we need to bear in mind the size of the galaxy and which planets we want to be in even the smallest games.
  16. So we can't have anything that contradicts what has already been in SWR?
  17. Nice idea, i think they should remodel the force powers on what has gone before, a few more options. All they would have to do is add some more force powers and then you could get points from each mission, say for the amount of times you use a power or accuracy or something. Then you could get much more diverse in terms of powers. You could even have stuff like points enabling you to choose to wield a second lightsaber, which is a force skill in itself etc etc...

Hmm, lots of dll's, and new programming, it would be similar to the change in luke when he returns from dagobah, but for every character? Bears investigating. Greg? Any ideas on whether this would be possible?
  19. Hmm, wouldn't this make it a little complicated. Actually, i think it's a good idea, although we should still be able to just assign one target as well for simplicity. Thing is, if you have a group of 20 star destroyers, do you really have time to go through setting all the values to whatever you deem appropriate, and you can't just set it for a group, because people in a different part of a formation need to have different priorities. I think it's a great idea, just hard to implement as you build up your numerical values.
  20. Interesting idea, having looked at the picture. I presume it would be tweaked a little to fit in with whatever design we end up with. I'm not onvinced it's better than the current method of keeping track of status yet.

Simply go to the "Sign in here" thread and post. Control your anger you must. Ready you are not. Train you we will.

    Cheers Zag. Already done Igor.
  23. Some of us, including myself, Commander Elvis Miggell, waited with baited breath to hear what the legendary Fel had to say. I had only recently been promoted, and not yet assigned a new squadron. The hologram fuzzed out and then re-coalesced. Then Fel began to speak...
