This is linked to my post in the ship names thread in the general forum. So i'm playing as the Rebels, and i have three slightly souped up Mon Cals sitting over Talus. When i say souped up i mean slightly strronger shielding, and a few more fighter bays, 6 i think, though they were all empty. And then this little fleet showed up asking for a fight... Hydra (Carrack) Extiguisher Wrecker Dismantler Mutilator Neutraliser Trampler Terminator Destructor Triumphant Eraser Destroyer Ravenger Victorious Avenger Chimaera Destiny Lord Overlord Taskmaster Executor Prevail Absolute Dominator Ascendancy Supreme Paramount Preeminent Herald Subjugator Harbinger Domineer Regnant Warrant Ordinance Edict Order Decree Confrontation Act Griffin Mandate Tiger Contest Dragon Battle Strife Cronos Manticore Serpent Rhea Iapetus Lion Bear Goblin Themis Oceanus Hyperion Cereberus Hades Eurystheus Orphion Antaeus Mnemosyne Nessus Procrastes Eurynome Jaguar Eurytion Atlas Chiron Lynx Triton Puma Pan Prometheus ISD II 91 ISD II 95 ISD II 10... ISD II 10... All unclassified ships were ISD II's. As i'm sure you can imagine, i was a little overawed. That's 80 ships there. 80!!! 79 of which are ISD II's!!! So i thought i'll just go out in a blaze of glory, i can afford to lose three ships in a sector i'm not looking to control at the moment. So i go into tactical. Target one ship, the Extinguisher as i happens. Press to un-pause. And guess what happens.... .... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ................ They turn around and run away. I managed to tractor the Extiguisher so i got that one. 80 vs 3, and 79 run away. I couldn't believe it. Moral of the story... never, ever, set ISD costs to 5/5. The Empire is not entirely stupid.
