Yo! Elvis dude!

What's not to get?

Golly, if you're still stumped go to your bathroom, look in the mirror, and see if you can slap your head 360d :!:

I'd be mighty freaked out if you reprt that you can, and might just consider rushing to somewhere remote in Chile... :?

Yum umm...

I agree...but why Chile? Send him to Clarksville, Tennessee, USA; he'd fit right in with the less-than-normal locals.

Chile is 'at the edge of the western world,' and well, hell; I can hide behind Bolivia and Peru... lots of hiding space... lots of trees and branches, and leaves not to be noticed among... sort of thing...

... I could just stay still and pretend to be a lessor known red-beaked gum-flower parrot untill Elvis stops rotating his head and freaking me out, munching contently on grubs and wild berries, squawking pointlessly, and rumaging for tropical lice..... the bliss... :)

Bet you can't do a 720°, huh ?

Which is something I cannot do as well

Anyways you shouldn't do that too often, I could "overstretch" my fingers, when I was little. You know, keeping your palm flat (downwards) and moving the fingers up in an angle was never supposed to be.

But older you will get and sorry you will be... :?

If it's like you could draw a line from your palm/fingers back up to your forearm (and beyond) it originates from your spine. I've had the unfortunate opportunity to "know" a great deal about this stuff firsthand.

But you can open and close your fist without difficulties, right ?

Btw, what's RSI ?

You guys know the stereotypical close your fists and your fingers crack thing, right? No? Well, when I close my hands into fists they always crack! No matter how hard I try, they won't not crack. What does this mean?

RSI = Reptitive Strain Injury

I can close my fist, but my knuckles REALLY ache. Doesn't seem to matter either way, close or open.

Got that with almost every disc in my spine and it used to unsettle a lot of girls during the lectures 8) But as several doctors told me, that wouldn't mean anything. Although I concurr, since before I stretch and the discs slip loudly back into their place, my spine hurts and afterwards it doesn't.

I had that snap-crackle-and pop thingy with my fingers a long time as well, but it mostly vanished over the time.

Elvis, I still don't recognize that term, but it seems to me to originate from strain to your nerves, somewhere above your knuckles, like the shoulders.

Yeah, the popping noise is actually synovial fluid rushing back into the now uncompressed joint as you stretch. Learnt that from my osteopath, cos i was worried about all my joints clicking.

So it's a "good thing" and I'm not hurting my back when I do it, correct?

Well, afterwards the pressure from the dislocated discs is gone and it feels better. So I don't think it's wrong.

Although the therapeutics always tell you, that making these funny exercises will harden your muscles, so the joints won't be dislocated in the first place.
