Here are some I thought of:

 

1. Can you give us an example of the maximum size of a space fleet given that the pop cap is 20? Does this mean we could have 20 Star Destroyers with their spawnable fighters? Or do different units like Star Destroyers take up more than 1 slot each?

 

2. What happens if I have a fleet that is 15 size points attack an enemy and have a fleet of 10 size points set to show up after the battle. What happens? Does the game prevent you from telling the 10 size point fleet to go to that planet in the first place?

 

3. Can you tell us what options are available to the defender during a ground battle in the galactic 1v1 multiplayer for defenses? When the battle starts, is there anything the defender does like set up turrets, build anything, fire the Ion Cannon (if it is built)?

 

4. When the questions were answered last time, it was said that the demo and game will not be moddable at first. Does this mean adding planets, ships, sides, textures, in terms of models and skins only, or are the XML values going to be encapsulated or hidden in some way?

 

5. Have the things like the Timeline only going up to ANH, the 20 pop limit max in space and the value for the pop limit on ground, the moddability not being present out of the box been things that are recent or have they been known since E3? And how many of these things are prompted by LEC and how many by Petroglyph?

Like the first one, we definetly have to ask about the Pop Cap in space, and if it can be increased, also a good quetion might be:

 

1-)Can we enter a planet one's it is under our control, to organize troops, etc..., and we heard in the last Q&A that buildings will be placed ramdonly in galactic mode, but what about the defences?, or the shield generators?

can we create heros or just purchase heros like luke, can the Hypervelocity gun reach the death Star and affect it? etc

what are the requirements to build the Death Star?

is it possible, that my own ships hit themselve?

 

for example: (sry 4 my english,i try my best)

 

I surrender an enemy ship,with two of mine left and right.i think not every shot hits the enemy,some goes above or under the enemy ship and could hit one of mine?

 

Same for the AT-AT if i move him wrong could he crush my troops?

i think the term your looking for is 'friendly fire' and i don't think that it would affect the enemy though if it were stormtroopers being fallen on.

things suggested/asked on the lucasforums are about boarding Craft, do the fighters self repair?

can we create heros or just purchase heros like luke, can the Hypervelocity gun reach the death Star and affect it? etc

what are the requirements to build the Death Star?

 

I think technically the Hypervelocity gun could pose a serious threat to the Death Star, except I think the Death Star can destroy the planet at a distance that the Hypervelocity gun could not reach it. None of that matters though as the Hypervelocity gun is Imperial only.

#1 is good Teradyn, and #2 might be good if you reworded it to make more sense.

#1 is good Teradyn, and #2 might be good if you reworded it to make more sense.

 

I agree about #2. If you have a suggestion for rewording it to get the best answer, by all means, please post it.

 

#5 May be better replaced by something else, but I do want to know the answer to the question. I was under the impression that EAW was delayed for polish not rule creation, completion, etc. The things that we have been finding out have not exactly just been suprises because we didn't know, they have been suprises because we have been lead to believe otherwise. Look how long it took for them to admit that the timeline would only go up to ANH an hence no Executor or B-Wings. I think that the presence of Mon Cal cruisers should have warranted an explanation of the timeline because what else would we have assumed?

 

Anyway, I don't intend for my questions to be the only ones. Please post some more so we can pick the best 5.

1) Will it be possible to mod in another faction without replacing the ones already in the game? For Skirmish maps and Campaign?

 

2) Can you steal more then one Imperial vehicles with the Rebels or only Chewie can steal only one?

 

3) Will multiplayer games be hosted by pure Gamespy or will there be plans to remove gamespy and put in a Lucas or Petroglyh server? Will there also be a direct IP?

i have a suggestion to help keep this round organized. This would be aimed at the moderators.

make up 5 or so threads with different catagories i.e. multiplayer, modding, content, battles, or whatever and let people post suggestions under each heading to keep on topic, then have a moderator look at the posts and pick like one or two questions and then have a poll tommorow and the winners will get sent. that way everyone has a say, not just people who post alot.

Now that we know the bad news about the Pop Cap, but I have seen pictures of a fleet of 10 Star Destroyers, and loads of ties.

 

Wich conduce me to think that each unit count as 1, one example is the avatar we have in the upper left corner of the site, we can see a fleet of 10 or 8 Star Destroyers and a lot of ties, maybe each unit count as one, if it is that way, then there is not much problem at all.

Well here goes the question I want answered:

 

How will you prevent players from forming "perfect defense" or "perfect invasion" armies that will force people online to use them to even have a chance against others.(i.e. One person discovers a high effective fleet formation for invasion so then everyone else will use it)

 

If this is cofusing them someone please reword it although I think everyone knows what I mean.

How about this:

 

How will you prevent all space battles from becoming the same? With such a small unit limit, people will be discovering the "perfect" combination of units and posting them online. It could turn into the same type of things as build orders in Starcraft. Wouldn't this detract from the entire space battle experience?

Yes but if the planet was taken over with the gun intact, the rebels coud use it. The empire might not know you have it and be overconfident( like in ANH) and not fire until its in range of your captured hypervelocity gun.

 

There's already so many questions.

How are the fighters counted to pop.lim?(is it 1 squadron takes up a space, or something). Can you bring in fighters without using the star destroyers spec. abilities?(as in LOTS of them, so you loophole the pop. limit.)

These are some I thought:

 

1) Are there going to be more heros than the ones we already know?

 

2) After a hero is dead, can they clone back to life like the emperor did on the novels?

 

3) Is there going to be a time period to build another Death Star after a first one has been detroyed?

 

4) Can Heroes do special missions?, like Boba Fett hunting Han Solo or Han and Chewie stealing imperial technology?

 

5) On Star Wars Rebellion we saw jedi and sith heroes training other non jedi heroes to use the force, are we going to see this on empire at war?

i like Teradyn's last posted question. about the Population limit, however i think that the Starfighter as they are produced by the units wouldn't count on the limit.
