It could be, but Im not sure.

Here are some decent pics where you can see the several different specialised units you are able to "recruit" for a match:

The bigger Titans you can see on these pictures can be equipped with different weapon-systems of your choice. The same is for their orky counterpart, called the Gargants. :)

So Im beginning to wonder if I should get a PS3 or a 360. I originally wanted a PS3, but now that Im thinking about it, the 360 seems to offer more. Its cheaper, has a larger game library with cheaper games (since its been out longer), and the online capabilities seem superior to those of the PS3 and Wii. Also, I love a good RPG, and the PS3 doesnt seem to offer too many, while the 360 has a large selection.

Does anyone who has either system have any recommendations on which one is best?

The only downside to 360 is the errors- red ring of death and all. Otherwise, most folks love it.

I played a few games on the PS3 and liked it, so it's no waste of money, but it lacks games, trading them for stability.

Supposedly the PS3's (now) come with a built-in Blu-ray DVD player; might save a couple of hundred bucks down the road instead of buying a separate Blu-ray HD DVD player ... just saying :?
Finally, after years of hard work I am the Supreme Sith Warlord! Muwhahahaha!! What?? What do you mean "there's only two of us"?

I have searched about but sadly it is not yet available in the public domain... What are the editors waiting for!!!

It looks bad concerning that:

Looks like there is still lots of money to make with these very old games, although they have been already released for free on pc-magazines CDs. :?

BTW sorry about posting german sites, Mad. But it looks like that the swiss sites either look the same or even dont exist. ;)

So thanks to this deal I will be obtaining a PS3 tomorrow. That little promo helped me make my decision rather quickly.

Edit:

So yeah, I waited on line for almost 2 1/2 hours, but got my PS3. The sale began at 8am. I was there at 7am, and about 30 people were in front of me. Luckily, they werent all there for the PS3, as Walmart had laptops on sale for $300 and some other junk that was pretty cheap. But I just wanted my PS3. I was happy in the end. With the giftcard, I picked up Metal Gear Solid 4 and Resistence: Fall of Man. I still have like $25 left on the card, so I will go back again when its less hectic and shop around.

I hate to double post, but I just had to say how awesome Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is. I know its also available on the PC, so if you're looking for a great RPG, this is it. I never played WoW before, and after playing this game, I glad I never got into it. Oblivion is pretty much WoW offline. It has the most in-depth character creation I have ever experienced in an RPG, and its unique process of "leveling up" is both different and amazing. There is just so much to do...I almost hate the game because its so great...

Anyone else played it?

*Jumps up and down* Ooo! Ooo! Mememememememe! I've played it! I've played it!

lol- Oblivion and its predecessor, Morrowind, both ate up tremendous amounts of my free time in their respective heydays. I tend to go for Redguard, heavy armor, skilled in blade (or, if it's Morrowind, shortsword.) I like to have a "bruiser" character who can just wade in and start taking damage and dealing it back very quickly- I've never seen the appeal of creating a specialty thief character... I want an item, I generally just kill whoever has it.

I love that game. But I always feel so lonesome playing it :S Okay it's single palyer, but you don't even have those NPC followers that you can get in KOTOR or in Mass Effect. Still it's nice.

A bunch of my mates already play it and me as an old Fallout veteran of course asked if its good, but the problem is none of them ever played the first parts. So, yeah, of course its good and especially good loocking, but that would be unnecessary for me if it cant provide the old Fallout-Feeling which was essentially for that series. Guys, you gotta play the first parts! They are just brilliantly sick! :)

... Buy Left 4 Dead. Play it. You can thank me later.

Best. Game. Ever. I played for a good solid two hours... it felt like twenty minutes. Time flies when you play that game... I think I'm in love with a bloody video game! I really do! I played as Frank (I think that was his name) the ex-Green-Beret, while my friend was the girl (don't ask me why- he's a dude who likes to claim that he's straight), and we kicked some serious zombie butt! Well, right up until we had to survive, like, a ten minute swarm... then we died the first time due to poor chaingun use. The second time we died due to a Tank beating the crap out of us and using up our ammo. I got pumelled by a Hunter on the way to the chopper, both of the AI players died, and my buddy got covered in tracker vomit (or whatever you want to call it). Totally kicked our butts at the end, there. Still- a ton of fun!

Edit: So I just found out that I'm not the only fellow who thinks Tofu is an awesome name. I was reading an interview with one of the leading minds behind the Resident Evil franchise, and when he was asked to mention five of his favorite bits about Resident Evil, number four was the inclusion of an unlockable character, Tofu, in Resident Evil 2. Turns out that the original character was a "test" character that they used while the game was still in development. The staff liked Tofu so much that they kept him around and stuck him in the game; I kinda wish he'd show up in future games, strictly so that I can have some more undeserved zombie-hunting (Or Los Plagas-hunting) fame.

PC? You don't have an X-Box 360 or a PS3? I mean, neither do I, but fortunately I have friends who own them...

I want to get Left 4 Dead but I need to find out if my PC can handle it. :(

Loved the screens, but the ingame videos are a bit frustrating. This game is seems to be too fast-paced (Counter Strike style). Everybody is running around like crazy!

The free demo for Lord of the Rings: Conquest was released yesterday. Its a lot of fun, and I will definitely be picking it up for the PS3 when it comes out in January.

Its somewhat based on the Battlefront engine, in which there are the classes and spawn points, and you capture additional checkpoints and whatnot. Also, like in Battlefront 2, as you kill a bunch of enemies, you can play as a "hero" character, such as Aragorn or Sauron.

Thats right, Sauron. You can play as either the "Free Peoples" or Sauron's army. The four classes are warrior, archer, scout, and mage, each with a different combat style and technique.

The demo had one single-player tutorial stage, which was the battle at the beginning of the FotR movie in which the Last Alliance takes on Sauron at Mount Doom. You can only play as the good guys, and eventually you can change to Isildur (sp) to take on Sauron and finish the tutorial. What was cool was that the tutorial allows you to play as the other four classes as well, so you get a feel for each.

The demo also included a online multilplayer battle. Two teams of 8 can meet online and duke it out. It was on here that I was able to become an orc. As far as I can tell, there are no differences between the classes for the good and bad guys (thus, a man warrior is equal to an orc warrior as far as stats and moves).

The game is a lot of fun. I am looking forward to when the game comes out next month and really going crazy. I saw a trailer for the game in which they showed a level where, as the bad guys, you play as the Balrog as you attack the Shire. So the big, bad Balrog with his flaming sword was burnanating hobbits and ents left and right.

I know for a fact that the game will also be released on the 360, and I think possibly the PC. I forget.
