Oh my. Um... let's see. It's kind of a long list...

KotOR 1 official 1.03 patch

No-CD patch

Bastila romance fix (so you can talk to her after a key conversation and not ruin it)

Bastila robe pack (you remember the cool robe she starts out with? Then you put a jedi robe on and she's back to standard robes... this mod keeps her in a variant of her original cool robes)

Bastila on Korriban (she wouldn't go with you originally)

Bendak the Bounty hunter (allows a light-side ending to the fight, if you do it properly)

Big Bad Sound Mod (see Ultimate sound mod for details)

Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon's Revenge (tons of additional content, very highly rated mod)

Hide the Weapon mod (hides character's weapons when they preform actions... like typing on a keyboard)

A Proxy skin for HK-47 (I'm not sure I like it yet... but I don't even have him in my party yet, either)

Lightsaber choices mod (let's you pick your color of lightsaber irregardless of what 'profession' you go into)

Male headpack (cause I like choices)

Music Enhancement pack (digitally re-incoded music at like four times the quality)

New Bik movie (restored content the developers took out)

Republic Uniform reskin (changes that ridiculous orange to a darker shade, MUCH better)

Ebon Hawk construction bench (let's you construct items with your ship's bench)

Korriban student robes (puts robes on them, so they no longer look like sith officers)

A new loading picture (so I don't have to see the Ebon Hawk every time I start the game; now it's a battle scene snapshot from Bastila vs. Reven)

Ultimate Sound mod (combined with the big bad sound mod; improves sound effects)

Visual Effects mod (removes the "glowing hands" and similar effects when using force powers, etc. Yeah, when did you see their hands glow with force push in the movies?)

Walk fix (fixes the gliding that characters will sometimes do with the official 1.03 patch)

I looked at a few other mods, but I wanted to keep the same balance in the game, so no super weapons, no higher difficulties, no additional merchants, etc.

I'm guessing you were only asking about KotOR, but... here's the mods I'm using on Deus Ex (which I think you all should try if you like FPS/RPG games)

Fully updated with official patches

No-CD patch

High-Def Texture Pack (which includes four different mods for higher-quality graphics in characters, weapon models, weapon effects, environments, etc.)

The Nameless Mod (a total conversion-esk mod; completely new story line and modified weaponry, full-voice acting, etc. I'm not using this one yet, not until I finish my current game.)

Maybe some more... Deus Ex doesn't have a handy Override folder to go looking in.

Pretty nice selection. I have to get back to KOTOR one of these days.

Yesterday I finished Prey. In the end i can say its a good game. The plot is very interesting and I really liked the way they treated the American Indian theme. What I didn't like was how the short the story is and the rather small amount of action. Because in the end you don't actually have that many fights and the fights aren't that challenging.

So in the end if you want to play it just try and get it in the bargain bin like I did.

Anybody here ever played Odium? It's a fun little RPG. Little old, but a good one. Unique in some of the things it does. Certainly not a game for a zillion options, but it's simplicity itself is... fun. Game Revolution gave it an A- back when they reviewed it (and it's hard to get an A- from them... I think Starcraft itself didn't get that high), so I tried it out. Good game, I recommend it if you can find it cheap.

Woohoo! C&C 4: Tiberian Twilight

Screw Tiberium Wars (which while fun, did not keep the naming convention going with Tiberian Dawn, Sun, ... Twilight was obviously the next expected release!)

I admit, I did submit Tiberian Twilight as probably many others had done. I'm glad they actually listened to their fans.

How old are the Wolfenstein games? And am I the only one who spent a couple of months as a small child thoroughly convinced that it was a combination of a werewolf and Frankenstein, having never played the games?

Also, I recently got ahold of a copy o Civ IV again, with all of the expansions... I'm learning loads in college! lol

Read this for a history of the series

I just finished the game. i was rather amzed at how easy the final boss was. Probably one of the easiest in the game. All in all the game was most enjoyable and should be played by anyone who likes FPSs.

Jumpgate Evolution

Mmmm. I like.

I'm not really attracted to MMOs, but this seems to be more in the vein of Freelancer than Eve Online. Space is very colorful, lots of ships... hoping the combat is really good. It looks pretty polished, but I have to try it and see :)

Former Lucasarts guys talk about the classic games - some Star Wars and the adventure games too :)

Very interessting stuff E. Thanks for posting it.

I'm currently enjoying the game Call of Duty. Its amazingly good at making you feel involved in the battle and so well put together that you wouldn't actually realise that its an entirely scripted game. I highly recommend it!

I was interested in the game, but all the reviews say it's been dumbed down. I would love it if they made a darker Clone Wars game, in the style of Batman: Arkham Asylum :)

Seeing as its based on the last CGI film it is surely a kids game. I wouldn't expect it to be brilliant. Then again i haven't played it so I am not very apt to juge.

I'm looking forward to TFU Ultimate Sith Edition. I'm going to see what the reviews are for PC, and if it's good, I'm gonna run around slashing up Wampas as the apprentice on my compy. Hee-

I played it on the Wii, and it was decent. I definitely want to check out this new edition on the PS3, with the better graphics, additional level, and trophies!!!

Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes for PC

Seen the reviews? Is is that bad? Gamspot was around a 3/10

Yeah, its pretty bad. I rented it on the PS3 and pretty much sent it back the same day I received it from Gamefly. The controls and camera made for a horrible experience.

Just looking at the trailer, it looks like it came out ten years ago; the graphics it displayed were pretty horrible, and the gameplay mechanics appeared to involve the patented, "Jump way too freaking much to get to an interesting segment."

Just finishing up Batman Arkham Asylum. It has truly been one of my favorite gaming experiences, with a killer combination of excellent gameplay and a well-developed and presented story. The last game I felt this good about was Bioshock.
