Guest Scathane Posted March 30, 2003 Posted March 30, 2003 (edited) I assault an Imperial planet and conquer it. The planet is still 100% for the Empire in popularity terms. I land about 40 troops on the planet and start 4 teams on diplomacy missions, plus I make Han Solo general on the planet. One team includes Drayson. All of a sudden I get the message that the planet is under blockade (which strange because my rather large fleet is still there and I didn't even have a battle), Drayson's captured, and before I get a chance to actually have a look at the planet (the game speed was set to fast), I have a fleet battle with just one Imperial ship, which I win and Drayson escapes injured: in this precise order. The other teams all quit their diplomacy missions (as they always do when the planet's blockaded) and they are on the planet uninjured..., where Han Solo is still general!!! Trejiuvanat Posted March 30, 2003 Posted March 30, 2003 Werid. Very weird. Soemtiem it has happened to me that if a battle was meant to occur on day 432, for example it would not happen when day 432 starts but at the end. The weird part is this blockade part. What ships composed your fleet? http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
TK421 Posted March 30, 2003 Posted March 30, 2003 And the most frustrating is that this all happened because of one (ONE, 1) stupid Imperial ship! Z'anthr saves the world. Sorry about the mess...
Guest Scathane Posted March 31, 2003 Posted March 31, 2003 My fleet: 4 Transports2 Bulk Transports2 Correllian Corvettes9 Correllian Gunships3 Escort Carriers4 Nebulon-B Frigates2 C-7700 Frigates11 Dreadnaughts3 Mon Calamari Cruisers1 Liberator Cruiser 3 B-Wing Fighters48 X-Wing Fighters By the way, you say that the wierd part is the blockade... I think that the wierd part is that about 80% of the personnel on the planet reacted to the entire incident as a blockade except for Solo. Moreover the teams that just had their diplomacy missions aborted were on the planet, whereas Drayson (who was captured and then escaped injured) was on board the fleet.
Trejiuvanat Posted March 31, 2003 Posted March 31, 2003 A pretty strong fleet. WIth a high detection rating, the blockade is the reason for all the strange incidents.... But I couldn't explain this... Perhpas you could send it to LucasArts and ahve them figure out why... AT least they will remember that they created a game called rebellion a long time ago.... http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif

What do you mean by with a high detection rating, the blockade is the reason for all the strange incidents? And, SURE, I would like to send this question to LucasArts, but they seem to have this three-letter-agency-ish attitude towards Rebellion nowadays. Rebellion??? No such game.
dude21 Posted April 3, 2003 Posted April 3, 2003 He means with the detection-rate that an imperial abduction or assasination mission could injured drayson "I am growing stronger with the Force"
Guest Scathane Posted April 3, 2003 Posted April 3, 2003 Ahhhh!, thanks dude...! But I still don't get it...
SOCL Posted April 18, 2003 Posted April 18, 2003 One of those unanswerable questions, I suppose. BTW, don't you just love what a single Imperial ship can do? The ship was probably one of my "special operation" ships. SOCL: Putting the BE in BEAK.Read the Forum Rules - Welcome the New Members - Rebellion Reloaded -
Trejiuvanat Posted April 19, 2003 Posted April 19, 2003 Special operation ships? Are those the ones you carry your action figures in? The ones that are part of your master-plan? http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
SOCL Posted April 19, 2003 Posted April 19, 2003 Special operation ships? Are those the ones you carry your action figures in? The ones that are part of your master-plan?It's a joke . . . and no, my action figures are carried in my 'special Toy's "R" Us' ships, thank you very much! My master-plan, though, shall be carried out from my surfshop in Virginia (which I have yet to see completed). But I have said too much . . . err . . .::waves hands in front of everyone's faces::You did not hear or read anything. Trejiuvanat Posted April 21, 2003 Posted April 21, 2003 My apprentice he once was, much dorkiness in him. Now a master of dork statistics he is. His path lay elsewhere, looking at Drayson being abducted even if he had a fleet in orbit wiht a high detection rating and SOCL's actionfigures... http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif

SOCL Posted April 22, 2003 Posted April 22, 2003 How does Hutt Illustrated relate to this topic? Well, of course, everyone knows that Drayson once worked for them! DUH! SOCL: Putting the BE in BEAK.Read the Forum Rules - Welcome the New Members - Rebellion Reloaded -

Guest Scathane Posted April 24, 2003 Posted April 24, 2003 I wouldn't really know, SOCL. Haven't there been two republics in the SW EU timeline?
ElvisMiggell Posted April 25, 2003 Posted April 25, 2003 At the very least. That's if you don't count any of the hundreds of smaller Republics between only a few planets or even continents!
