I started to miss Supremacy, reinstalled it.. and decided to look for some related sites, you guys popped up and I lurked for a while at what was going on. I'm slightly saddened to see everything slowly down, but I guess its expected after all these years. I love this game, and after I get used to it again, may be up for some multiplayer.

 

On a secondary note, Kudos to anyone trying to recreate Rebellion =D.

Yeah, things have begun to slow down a bit around here unfortunately. But, feel free to jump in and start chatting - most of us don't bite (but the verdict is still out on Tofu ). Everyone here's nice and won't jump to attack you if you say something stupid or whatever - we just ask that you keep in mind that the forum has some young members, so no swearing or in-appropriate stuff.

Just watch out for BEAKers .. you'll know them when you see them

Hi all. I played Rebellion a lot in grade school and high school and recently rediscovered it...and now to discover that there's actually somewhat of an online community playing it? Phenomenal. I'm not sure I'm interested in modifying my game, but I'm definitely ready to play someone other than the AI.

Hey Everybody,

 

Clovermite here. I bought Rebellion back around 1996 and played a lot as the rebels against the computer, but didn't take the game back out until a week or two ago. I played my first multiplayer game with a friend a couple days ago and surrendered before day 200 due to some key mistakes and a seemingly freak occurrence (I'll give a story in the proper thread).

 

On my second game now with the same friend and it's going a lot better. If interested, I can give y'all some details later.

 

On a personal note, I just graduated college and am looking for my first job in the Chicagoland area. If anyone knows of entry level sales openings, please pass them by me

I play SWR for a long time but only playing time to time, and it seems that I've a lot to learn on this forum. I won a few days ago my first game in hard with the imps and I m actually playing my first game in hard with the rebs (but it's not really hard).

Yeah, well, there´s not really a "hard level" in this game. It just means that you have lesser facilities to build ships, troops and stuff and you haven´t got that much ship at the start. Someone else plz correct me if I missed something.

You are probably right. I mean I'm playing with the highest level of difficulty, which is not hard.

Hi, I'm so happy to have found a dedicated forum to one of my favourite games- I've always known it as Supremacy, hence the late arrival. I've been playing the game online for years with one friend and had long thought the game to be obsolete. Forum's looking good tho.
