You have watched the prequels, haven't you? The question remains whether Shmi actually conceived Anakin inmmaculately or was it just that she didn't want to reveal the true father to Qui-Gon, being afraid that his sheer horror at the revelation of her somewhat unconvential, not to say perverse taste in men would totally and forever turn him off.....
