"HE WAS LICKING MEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!" Holy crud Mad, I LOVE that movie, but no one else I knew did. All my friends thought it was horrible and stupid. That is a great film, and one of my favorite horrors movies. Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the Dark Side! Mad78 Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Well it certainly is much better than some of the horror crap which has been made recently. Robert Carlyle is brilliant in it. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
DarthTofu Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 I finally saw the trailer for Iron Man: Looks awesome, though I must say, he sounds distinctly like a Dalek (sp?) toward the end when he gives his name. The teaser for Dark Knight has me rather excited as well. Then there's this new miniseries that's coming out, the critically acclaimed Road Trip from Hell. Work has commenced on the actual miniseries; seven full episodes have been written, and all of the raw footage for the first episode has been shot. I originally planned to get everything filmed in advance and edited, then upload it in once-a-week increments once I'd finished, but the other two actors want it up as soon as possible, thus you may have to wait longer for some episodes than others- namely the final episode, which ought to require a lot of work. I'll upload the brand-spanking-new and far-funnier episode one that hurt me rather a lot during filming. Took us about eighty minutes worth of camera-time to film it, counting us screwing up. 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away

That's not the voice of Iron Man, Tofu, that's from the Black Sabbath song "Iron Man", which is being used as the theme for the film. History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.
Darth_Rob Posted November 4, 2007 Author Posted November 4, 2007 Im excited for Iron Man and Batman. Im a fan of any comic book/movie adaptation, even more so when its a Marvel comic (those are the ones I read growing up). I just dont know about the Iron Man trailer. I watched again awhile back, and it appears that Tony Stark (Iron Man) is taken captive by terrorists, and makes an Iron Man suit in the forges where he is being held captive. I dunno... I dunno... This is a modern take on what happened in the original comics, and pretty much identical to what happened. In the original comics, while testing weapons in the field, Stark's convoy was attacked, a piece of shrapnel lodged in his chest. His captors installed a pace maker (more advanced than your standard pace maker though. That's what the glowing thing in his chest is) and told him to make them weapons. Instead, Stark makes the first Iron Man suit and uses it to escape. He's humbled by his experience and designs and constructs the Iron Man suit we know today. I think back then Stark was in Vietnam, so they've pretty much just taken him to Iraq or somewhere similar for this one. History is on the move, Captain. Darth_Rob Posted November 18, 2007 Author Posted November 18, 2007 Bah. I was disappointed with T3. Granted, I will definitely see the 4th film (I still enjoy the Terminator franchise), but I will go into the theatres being very afriad, expecting nothing but a bunch of crap. DarthTofu Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 I've only ever seen parts of the first and third- the second was rather good, though. 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
Darth_Rob Posted November 19, 2007 Author Posted November 19, 2007 Oh man, the second was by far the best! The first was very good too. Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the Dark Side! My Website http://fp.profiles.us.playstation.com/playstation/psn/pid/BigBadBob113.png
Mad78 Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 I must say i enjoyed most of the Terminator movies. But its true that the T3 was by far not the best. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
Eagle Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 The first was the best! Long before Tim Burton´s "The Nightmare before Christmass" and "A Corpse Bride": When I was a child that movie came late night on TV for just one time. But my parents didn´t allowed me to watch it. Now that I know that it´s available on DVD and I finally know the title, I gotta have it! Who cares at all?!
Mad78 Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 I'd never heard of that film before! Darth_Rob Posted November 24, 2007 Author Posted November 24, 2007 Got to see Beowulf this week. I was pretty disappointed. While the CGI was beautifully done, the story just plain sucked. Sinister Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 I recently saw The Mist. I highly recommend it, as is one of Stephen Kings best films. http://www.geocities.com/xenogears23/Jokersinsigmgs.jpg "Life is hard. After all, it kills you." - Katharine Hepburn

Darth_Rob Posted November 25, 2007 Author Posted November 25, 2007 Princess Bride is a truly great movie. I saw that they had just recently released some sort of new fancy edition on DVD. DarthTofu Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 The same actor is in both of 'em- Wesley in Princess Bride, Robin of Loxley in Men in Tights. The song in there is recycled from History of the World Part I. Eerily enough, I saw that film the night before my World History exam in ninth grade and could finally remember that De Monet was the father of some form of French art. The irony in that it's so inaccurate had me chuckling as I took the exam. (It helped that the only difference between exam and test was that one counted for a grade and the other didn't). Anybody ever heard of a chick-flick called Where the Heart Lies about a pregnant team who gets abandoned at a Walmart and has her child there after three weeks of secretly living in the store? Very, very, very odd movie that's supposedly based on a true story. Stars Natalie Portman and a generic Women's Entertainment abusive father of the child. 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
Darth_Rob Posted November 26, 2007 Author Posted November 26, 2007 I saw that movie Tofu, and for two reasons. One is because Portman is the hottness. The second reason is that at the time I worked for Wal-Mart, and it was good for a laugh. Nothing special, if you ask me. Definitely a chick flick.
