DarthTofu
Yeah, it was more for the Americans on the forums... Though in retrospect, most of the folks here aren't Americans.... Okay, give me some obscure Swiss holiday coming up and I'll make a comic for that day, too. 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away

Mad78
What's the historical significance of "The Escalade?" IE: Why did it start, and what special bits and pieces does it have?Well in the 17th century Geneva was a protestant stronghold and an independant republic. The duc of Savoy (an area close to Geneva) decided to conquer Geneva and to do so attacked on the darkest night of the year using ladders to climb over the walls of the town. Ensued a battle were the Geneva defended there town and actually won. One event of the night was when an old lady (La Mère Royaume) threw a pot of soup she was making by her window and killed one of the attacking soldiers. We celebrate each year by breaking a chocolate pot, eating soup and dressing up. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
DarthTofu
By "breaking a chocolate pot" do you mean breaking a pot made for the cooking of chocolate, or a pot made out of chocolate? 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away

DarthTofu
Hey, the Tofu part is not, in fact, based on the food, but an interesting nickname someone gave me after the altered my name. I used to have the details in my profile... Don't remember if I do or not anymore, and I'm too lazy to check... 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away

CaptainKirk
If you're making a web comic, the least you can do is something interesting. Like maybe having some tribbles beat the heck out of ewoks or something.
JediHunter
I know Tofu... i was just messin I know how you got the name of Tofu. I know the process of how it evolved from your name... which I will not say since its not my place. Hence why I said you may not know of Tofurky. Just thought that since your nickname was Tofu, that perhaps you would know a little bit about the God forsaken gelatinous goo. "Duct tape is like the force. JediHunter
lol.. soylent green... lol... yea.. but i think Tex is saying that the boca burger is Soy.. see.. the Boca Burger is Vegitarian friendly.. but not Vegan friendly.. where as Tofu is Vegan friendly and Vegitarian friendly.. this is because Tofu is soy curd and Boca Burgers have some egg in it.. or other dairy products which Vegans wont get near.. so.. yea.. i have vegan and vegitarian friends can you tell? Darth_Rob
For some reason I always assumed that tofu was derived from mushrooms.
