AdmiralToguroAni Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 And here I thought Morgan was a girl. Boy my mind was off in the wrong direction. Count Dooku is the strongest Star Wars character as depicted in the movies. All hail Christopher Lee.
General_Crespin Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 You people must be younger than I thought. Or Captain Morgan isn't as known in Europe. http://crespin.xwlegacy.net/pics/Shadowkeeper99a.jpg
Guest Scathane Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Actually the most notorious Morgan was a girl...

Darth_Rob Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 I'd be too nervous that one of those guys would come around with their bright-red traffic cones on a stick and find me out and (heavan forbid) throw me out of the theatre, using their employee-powers! DarthTofu Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Actually the most notorious Morgan was a girl... ... I think that one goes in the 'you might be a computer geek' section, amigo. So which was Morgan, BS? 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
Baron_Soontir_Fel Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 You gotta watch out for the high fructose corn syrup and the partially hydrogenated soy bean oil. But they're practically everywhere.
Guest Scathane Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 ... I think that one goes in the 'you might be a computer geek' section, amigo. I don't... @ Baron_Soontir_Fel: May I commend you on your excellent avatar!
carrieofthewest Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Ever wonder why you park on the driveway, but you drive on the parkway? Yeah, stupid, I know. The Bunny Princess
DarthTofu Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Brilliant! And, of course, don't forget Americans drive in a parkway and park in a driveway... Hehe, Scath beat ya to it! Only in America do people attend college and Grad school to get a degree in psychology before embarking on a career of flipping burgers at their local fast food restaurant. 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
Guest Scathane Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Only in America do people attend college and Grad school to get a degree in psychology before embarking on a career of flipping burgers at their local fast food restaurant. Nah..., we do that in large parts of Europe as well...
DarthTofu Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Surprisingly enough I have found out why Americans drive on Parkways and park in driveways! Te answer came to me late last night in the form of a drea- okay, fine, I read it in "Why do dogs have wet noses" from 1990, but still... Apparently Parkways were so-named because of the trees and grass growing alongside them, designed to make them look like a recreational park, with 'way' being a path of movement. A driveway is a 'way' from which you move to drive- thus driveway and parkway were formed. Who knew? 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
Mitth_raw_nuruodo Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Who knew?More importantly Tofu, who cares? Chaos, Panic, Disorder, Destruction.....My work here is done. Grand AKmiralCommander-in-Chief of BEAK Forces(CINCBEAK) BEAK Imperium"To BEAK is Divine!"
DarthTofu Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Nobody really cares, but Imponderables is just full of those stupid little questions that you never realized you never asked yourself. For instance, why did Chinese people develop chopsticks? Why are our veins blue when our blood is red? 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
Mitth_raw_nuruodo Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 The blood in our veins is NOT red Tofu. It's blue. The blood in ARTERIES is red. It's the oxygen in the blood that makes it red. Veins go to the heart then the lungs when the blood leaves the lungs it's carried by arteries to the to the heart and then to the rest of the body. Chaos, Panic, Disorder, Destruction.....My work here is done. Grand AKmiralCommander-in-Chief of BEAK Forces(CINCBEAK) BEAK Imperium"To BEAK is Divine!"
DarthTofu Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 *sighs* yes, I know that Mitth. The blood that has no oxygen is blue, that's why our veins are. Just about everyone asked that when they were young and got the answer. It was an example, not an actual question. I was just commenting it on being a good book- I'm sure some of our older faces have read it or another book similar to it, "When do fish sleep?" and "Who put the butter in butterfly?", or more recently "Why do men have nipples?" (If you don't know that one you aren't allowed to call yourself a man anymore... Come to think of it, if you do know that one then you can't, either... 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
Guest Scathane Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Great, Tofu! I'm delighted! As the Imperial Head of Useless Statistics, as well as the founder of the Beak Imperium, I always crave more input... Moreover, I've never read the book...

Darth_Rob Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Only in America have we produced reality shows that live up to their name so little that Star Treck and the X files are more in touch with reality. Let me tell you, nothing pisses me off more than these "reality" shows. They are the stupidist, biggest waste of time since...I don't know, but something really pointless. And to make me even more pissed off, I noticed recently that my satelite company offers a "Fox Reality Show Channel", where they play nothing but re-runs of their old reality shows. How retarded is that?!?!?! Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the Dark Side! My Website http://fp.profiles.us.playstation.com/playstation/psn/pid/BigBadBob113.png
