I watched The Incredibles just so I could see the Revenge of the Sith trialer (I did want to see the Incredibles as well of course). The traler is great and it was cool to see Alec Guiness again. The trailer makes me think that this will be a great movie!- Grand Moff Conway

Yeah, who is Tion Meddon? :?

The guy with the crazy teeth that is talking to Ben.

No kidding! Duh! And exactly what character is Tion Medon?

1:18 the first shot of the space battle.
It's actually 1:17.

Me, in just waiting for bootlegged copies of the movie to hit the net.
Have a nice wait!

Well, since I'm not a Hyperspace member I just watched the tailer today and honestly, there are no words to describe it. A space battle above Coruscant, Anakin looking very emperor-like with his yellow eyes (only in one scene), and the Emperor kicking but!

But will it be the Emperor or Vader who kills Mace? I got the impression it was the Emperor, and also he who forces Yoda into hiding.

Did any one else notice that the Emperor looked a little, erm, odd? He sort of reminded me of the Twi'lek Dark Jedi from Jedi Knight. That, and why did he look like the Episode VI Emperor while Palpatine looked normal? Maybe Palpy was a puppet who's identity was taken by a Sith Master, becoming Emperor Palpatine?

I think I'll watch it again.

History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.

~ From what I understand, those are injuries sustained during the fight with yoda.

~ keep on watching it man. It gets better every time.

I just went through the movie again and noticed something kind of disturbing. The Dreadnaught in 1:26 gas a Republic crest emblazoned on its side, and the Republic Cruiser has a rebel crest (Its half in shadow and a turbolaser blast hit directly below it, so its very difficult to see) and a series of red markings along its side. Could the Republic class be in use on both sides? I suppose in a sad way that makes sense, it is a Civil War of sorts after all.

Or maybe it documents the start of the Rebel Alliance. If you look at Star Wars Battlefront (the game), one of the Galactic Civil War battles take place on a planet called Rhen Var. That planet has never been heard of by me, and it is also featured as a Clone Wars map, which leads me to believe te planet could've transcended from one campaign to the other.

In contrast, planets such as Hoth, Geonosis, Kamino, and Endor are only featured in ONE campaign. HmmmmMM!?

I've noticed that in the shots we see of Mace fighting his opponent is using a red lightsaber. If Anakin is suppose to kill him, why is it not a blue lightsaber? Is it possible that we'll se some more Vader action in this film (not likely since most information says there is only about five minutes of Vader), or is it hte Emperor?

I have the feeling that this movie will not be what we ar expecting. That is, I think GL will throw us a lot of curve balls, keeping the origin of Vader, but twisting the rest of the plot in ways we aren't expecting.

I'm inclined to agree with Igor about the beginning of the Rebellion. I'm sure that the developers at LucasArts are privy to a lot of information we aren't (especially since they've been working on th Episode III game for some time now), so I'm sure there are a lot of hints in there somewhere. We can probably expect to see some more combat on Tatooine, as well as Cloud City in Episode III. That, or the LA guys are off their rockers.

Gosh! :)

Well I finally got to watch it day and by the time Imperial March sounded at the end was drooling and salivating so much over a key-board in an internet cafe, I was bearly able to stay in my chair.

That has to be a Dreadnaught battling an Acclamator right? I did here the unmistakable sound of a TIE fighter right? Wow!

I came across a rather important bit of imformation the other day. That dreadnaught is not only Imperial/Republic in affiliation but that it also is being controlled by certain...shall we say "Key" characters.

Just saw it. This trailer is odd. Nothing really shown. The scenes are interesting, but I can't get an oversight of things. Usually, you can guess the quality of a movie by it's trailer. Here, I can't. Still I hope, it will be a great show! :D8)

Emperor deifnitely.

Mace challenges Palpy.

Anakin intercedes and kills Mace.

There will be 11 worlds in the movie. Tatooine won't have much presence only the Kenobi scene at the end. I don't think we'll be seeing Bespin in E III.

this one ? Looks like a Dreadnaught to me, but the other can't be an Acclamator, since its forward section rather looks like mandibles, than like a closed (!) wedge.

That Tie sound seems to come from that new jedi fighter, I think

Definetly not an Acclamator, but no mandibles either - on your shot this is what it looks like, but the same class of ship in the background

reveals the red is just a paint job.

Ohh, good eyes, you have 8)

Still it can't be an Acclamator, the size would be off, too. The Acclamator's supposed to be over 750 meters (752, I think) long, while the Dread is only 600. But in the screenshot you can see, that the ship opposite of the Dread is shorter.

Although, nobody officially confirmed yet, that the right one is a Dreadnaught as well ...

* sigh *

I think there was a new class of ships for the Republic announced, something that should bring us a bit closer to the Star Destroyer design. I think this Republic cruiser (which, indeed, fires blue bolts which seem to be lasers though) is it. And I could really grow to like this one.

It actually looks bigger than an Acclamator, from what the windows on the hull look like, but it's hard to tell.

What the Dreadnaught-look-alike really is is not clear though...

EDIT: Stellar, could you elaborate?

Well it may be a little wordy but here it goes.

George Lucas announced that the only inside of the Confederacy of Independent Systems ship visible in the opening sequence will be of a Trade Federation Battleship, (Yeah one of the doughnuts). It has also been stated by people at Lucasfilm that the Dreadnaught like vessel will have several key characters onboad, who, I'm not sure but if you compare the two statements it seems clear that the Dreadnaught has to be a Republic ship, I'm betting Anakin, Obiwan, or some other Jedi are onboard.

Then there is this:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v436/StellarMagic01/ep3_dreadnaughtcrest.jpg

I'm guessing that since only some of the Imperial style craft have the red paint job that those vessels are actually CIS. They're identifying markers to make it clear who is on what side during the middle of the battle.

Thats what I think though, and I could be wrong.

If you pause the teaser when the hanger bay door closes...you get a wide view of alot ships, namely the back of a Star Destroyer you can identify by its engines, also appears some TF battleships and perhaps a mon cal ship too 8)

Dunno... I wouldn't expect the Mon Calamari to be involved until much later...
