Revenge of the Sith Teaser Trailer [spoiler]

Please don't post until you've seen it; this isn't for upping your post count. I thought it was okay... It could have been better but, hey! it's only a teaser trailer.

 

I really love the later parts where you can see a lot of the fights from the new movie. And don't you just love the look on the faces of Obi-Wan and Padmé when they see Vader?

It was on at the end of the news tonight (Channel 10 for those Aussies out there), just a short teaser that starts with "Rise Lord Vader" scene, and that's all I'm going too say

Though it looked good, and there's a space battle scene!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the looks of it, it is Obi-Wan who casts Anakin into molten lava, by the way. AND, it looks like we finally get to see the Emperor in lighsaber action!

YES!!! i love the trtailer makes me even more impatient. The lightsaber scene is awesome. Have you checked out the computer game which is made based on the film? Doesn't seem to be another Jedi Knight

Awesome for a number of reasons:

 

Number one, Wookies in action!

 

Number two, that Space Battle, isn't that what we love about star wars. (If you watch the trailer again you can see the planet behind the ships, it looks like Coruscant!)

 

Number three, Anakin looks really dark (The results of using the dark side of the force are plainly visible.)

 

Number four, Palpatine, Yoda, Mace... Let the lightsaber battles begin!

Well, I downloaded it, and man, what a show!! Thespace battle over Corusant looks awesome. The fight between the emperor and uoda is going to rule, even though Yoda gets whooped.

 

And seeing Vader rise gave me chills.

Actually went and saw "The Incredibles" tonight and guess what the first movie trailer was... The Star Wars trailer O yea thats right, i saw it and it looks freaking awesome. Cant wait to see that space battle, looks pretty epic. And seeing Anakin's eyes was awesome. Hopefully if the trailer is half as good of the movie then we are in for a treat.

The way palpatine say "Rise" is so fantastic. And we at last get to see some dreradnought. (You see one coming side to side with a republic cruiser and exchanging fire with it. Pity we didn't see Grievous though.

I spent some time doing freeze frames on the movie just to get a good look at some of the ships and such.

 

1:18 the first shot of the space battle. You can see a Trade Federation Battleship in the background along with several vessels reminiscent of a Mon Calamari design. In the foreground is some form of Seperatist cruiser, unknown class. Also you get to see both kinds of Jedi Starfighter. Behind the TF Batteship you can see the prow of a vessel that looks like an Imperial Class, could they be out in production already?

 

1:19 the second shot of the space battle. You can see another trade federation battleship, the command area of a Republic Cruiser and the prow of either a Victory Class or a Republic Cruiser. You get a good look at the new Jedi Starfighter. The cockpit of the craft looks alot like the cockpit of a YT-1300, (Yeah its smaller) The design is obviously Sienar Fleet Systems, still no sign of the imfamous T.I.E. design.

 

1:20 the shot with a ton of wookies in the foreground. It's clear that the battle of Kashyyk will have Wookies fighting alongside clones. In the background you can clearly see three Juggernaught assault vehicles and three all terrain walkers, the prototypes of the AT-AT anyone?

 

1:22 Cool firefighters! This is a seperatist vessel I believe, either the same class of ship that was mistakenly refered to as a dreadnauight earlier or of a Mon Calamari design. I'd have to lean and say that its the same class as the "Dreadnaught"

 

1:26 Yeah that ships looks a lot like a dreadnaught, but it's different from the ship designs they released for the Rendili Star Drives Dreadnaught, the ship in the games. It also dwarfs the Republic cruiser its engaging leading me to believe that is a larger cousin of the Dreadnaught, maybe in the Cruiser class? In the background you can see a number of other ships, both Seperatist and Republic. One of which looks like a prototype of the CC series vessels, another a mon cal, and the prow of some form of destroyer is visible. Of course as usual you can see a TF Battleship in the scene.

 

1:27 Why can't you put in a Z-95 guys! Thats suppose to be the father of the X-wing!

 

1:31 A Seperatist ship takes a massive hit in the foreground. I see two ships that look like Mon Calamari Cruisers, a Victory Class in the distant background, and another Star Destroyer being partially hid by the explosion. I can also see a Seperatist Crusier and two TF Battleships. Once again you can see the new Jedi Starfighter in the shot. There are other ships but their two distant or to blurred to identify.

There is clearly some evolution in the republican cruisers. They seem on good way to become ISDs. One thing disturbed me: no0t many droid starfighters.

I noted that at 1:28 you can see a ship who's design looks very much like that one of a Z-95 Headhunter.

The republican fighters are also on the way to become ties. They already have wing slightly resemblant and the kind of cockpit.

Mon Calamri cruisers seem to be present. I also noticerd that he republic fires blue bolts. Ion Cannons?

The Dreadnaught in 1:26 gas a Republic crest emblazoned on its side, and the Republic Cruiser has a rebel crest (Its half in shadow and a turbolaser blast hit directly below it, so its very difficult to see) and a series of red markings along its side. Could the Republic class be in use on both sides? I suppose in a sad way that makes sense, it is a Civil War of sorts after all.

Heck I just noticed that in 1:19 the two Imperial style ships are shooting at each other, what is going on?

Me, in just waiting for bootlegged copies of the movie to hit the net. Then I can tell you all what is going on in those scenes.

Rebel crest is derived from an Alderaanian pattern, which is obviously pro Republic.

I think it is actually a clone warship, however.
