Hey Scathane, I thought I alread posted a reaction on your reaction today, but it seems that it didn't come through.

I actually meant that the topic of the (useful!) discussion is better continued somewhere else on the board. I mean, it is quite confusing to go to the personnel section to read about the VB decompiler :wink:

And I did like you said. I have found a VB decompiler. It's quite simple. It is the VB compiler/decompiler for .NET MSDN for Microsoft! So Dude21, you understand that this is the ultimate XP decompiler.

Z'anthr saves the world. Sorry about the mess...

I understand, TK, I was merely pulling your leg. Can we get this VB decompiler to dude21?

Well... there is only one problem. Not a large one, but a problem nontheless. I'll PM you about it.

Btw, I don't want to stop you cold, but I tried that decompiler (wants to have good ol' vbrun300.dll, btw) on the Rebexe and it told me, that the prog wasn't even a VB code.

Is that just a bug, cause I also tried it on one, that I know that it's written in VB, or was Rebellion perhaps programmed in another language, C++ for example ?

Search, little robot, search :!::!:
I might just climb in a Snowspeeder and cause havoc on your legs, dude21... :twisted:

Moreover, I think I'll wait what Mask has to say about the C++ thingy...

RebED is programmed in Delphi

Sorry, but I'm just making sure you know. Its not VB, this is the first I've heard of a VB decompiler... whatever.

Wait, you are talking about RebEd ?

I thought you meant the Rebellion exe. Rebed is programmed in Delphi 3 or 4 , as far as know.

Err.. Rebellion itself is most likely programmed in C++. It uses old DirectX I think, which Visual Basic would not have.
