After T’char had finished fixing his ship after the battle Tython and T’char went to the simulators for seven hours of intence training in Tythons new ship, the Triphon starfighter. After the training and lots of personal tips from T’char Tython desided to try and become better friends with T’char. So Tython asked “So T’char, What do you do with your spare time?â€

Tython had just received a personal message saying that his new ship was ready so he quickly went to the hanger bay in the hope of taking it out for a test flight before the next wave of enemy fighters came or before the general desided to go and do something about the enemy. When Tython arrived in the hanger he was surprised to find that his ship was ready and preped on the landing pad. The head mechanic walked over and said “I figered you’d want to test it as soon you could. Though I don’t understand why anyone would want a mind link in their ship. All I can say is that you must be a very strong beliver in your own capabillitys.

Tython took the ship up through the atmosphere. The ship handled like a dream in comparison to his old Preybird. The ship was slightly sensative to his control but that was to be expected and Tython knew that is he flew the ship enough then the controls would be as easy to do as walking down the street.

After practicing menouvers and firing situations for about 3 hours Tython was very happy to note that his flying was starting to come naturally. Suddenly a message flashed across Tythons mind (the ships sences are also his sences due to the mind link so the message acrose the mind is a radio signal the ship is receiving.) telling him that 240 enemy fighters and bombers would arive in 2 minutes time. Tython quickly did a mental calculation and realised that it would take 4 minutes for the first fighter squadrons to get off the planet and get to the battle. His only chance of survival was to run away. Then Tython thought to himself "You must save the first wave of fighters off the planet by getting them enough time to form up." So though all logic went against it Tython flew into the expected flight path of the oncoming enemy fighters. 1 minute later Tython was pumped and ready to fight for all he was worth and especially determined to take as many of the enemy with him as he could. 30 seconds later they arrived heading straight for him in huge waves of fighters. Tython quickly accelerated to attack speed just as he came into range of the first of the enemy fighters. The Sith fighters started firing but for some reason Tython had already know the lasers where coming and so he had moved out of the way before they had even covered half the distance to his ship. Tython was surprised and glad that his instinct was so correct for without it he would already have died a dozen times. As soon as Tython entered the first enemy swarm he started trailing an enemy fighter and trusting in his instincts he aimed at where he thought the enemy pilot would be and fired….. Just as the sith ship entered his line of fire. Tython then proceded to do this again and again shooting down so many ships he lost count.

Barkoa’s heart was warmed to see Nuri again. It had been a long time, about five years. Once he’d gotten wrapped up in being a jedi, he’d had little time to spent with old friends. She had her blade activated, and he’d seen her fight before. She was quite good, but he wanted to see if she’d improved. He activated his saber blades. She activated hers and lunged at him. Her purple blade came down hard and fast on his top blue blade. Very good, he thought, she’s improved. She attacked fiercely, striking accurate, deadly blows at Barkoa. He was so impressed he almost forgot to block! Starting his own strikes, he pushed her back. Using the force, he jumped at her, performing his favourite move, the Spinning Kayata. This involved spinning quickly, waving his sabers around in an artistic fashion, and ending with a kick to the chest. Nuri was thrown back, but jumped up speedily and continued the fight. The breakthrough for her came when she force-pulled Barkoa’s saber, while force-pushing him. This surprised him enough to work, and she leapt to her victory. Landing on top of him she put her blade under his chin. He smiled and laughed gently.

“You have improved much! You must be a jedi by now!â€

Afton walked into hanger one, she looked around and found that the hanger was quite busy. There were people running around everywhere, putting things into ships and so forth. She walked up to one of the men and asked.

"Excuss me. Would you be able to point me in the direction of Josson."

The man wiped his hands on his trousers and stuck it out.

"At your service ma'am." He replied sarcasticly.

Afton realised that it was Josson and laughed.

But when it comes to war, I'll be with you in a minute.

IC: Séreméla was getting angry. Of course she'd planted the bomb, she was an explosives expert. And yes, obviously, she had been responsible for the deaths of many Vathinorians. But what did this stupid human expect? She was a mercenary, and if it meant credits, Séreméla did it.

Leaving the controls she went to the cramped corner in the small ship which contained the drink synthesiser and got a strong drink. She could hear the human continuing to rant and rave but she ignored him, not wanting to give in to the temptation to yell at him.

Once he'd calmed down enough to sustain a reasonable conversation she coldly told him that it was useless to struggle, that there was no way he was going to gain her sympathy or his freedom, and that he would most likely be dead within the hour. She didn't let on that some of his blows were hitting home.

She was a mercenary. She was cold, ruthless, heartless. She couldn't let memories and feelings interfere with her work.

With a sigh that if anyone had heard would have betrayed her coldness, she grabbed some meagre rations and walked down the short corridor to give them to the prisoner.

*****

A beep from the controls woke Séreméla from her light doze and informed her that they had left hyperspace and were approaching the large reddish planet that was Vathinor.

With a grin that at last she was home and could be rid of this useless human, she grabbed the controls and flew down into the atmosphere...

The two jedi ran to their special fighters. These were fast, agile and durable little ships that were enhanced by the jedi’s use of the force. The hangar doors opened and several ships flew out. Barkoa had his prepped and flying a lot quicker than Nuri who was a less experienced pilot. They zoomed out of the academy and headed up into space. The fights were getting very intense and hundreds of fighters swirled around like bees around a beehive. Barkoa got straight into it, killing two quickly. They were seriously outnumbered. Six capital ships were heading towards the planet quickly, and it wouldn’t stand much of a chance against them. He continued to mop up fighters, but more came. Several larger cruisers came quickly into the fray, and their large turboblasters sent reems of fire towards them. Their few cruisers wouldn’t stand a chance. The assault was looking grim, until out of hyperspace appeared the Sirius V. It was the capital ship of the Mouvian fleet and had been out with the Mouvian Strike Force taking out a reasonable threat. It returned at a perfect time. The opposition was moving closer to the orbiting defense platforms when the Sirius arrived. It then had perfect aim at their rears, the most vulnerable spot…

Some of the hate towards the merc left him as he saw the human side in her return - even if it was for an instant. She moved off towards the cockpit again and didn't emerge for a long time. Rantar used this time preciously, he was able to free himself from his cufs and make sure his small vibroblad was well hidden up his under the binders, where he could get to it easily once he was taken to the mercs boss. He then damaged the binders so that he could get them off with little difficulty. He wasn't going to try and take the merc, she seemed more likely to be the one to kill him should hetry and escape.

Resting back on the cell floor, with his hands back in the disbled binders - Rantar began to wait, he was waiting for the right time to strike. After a while, he drifted off to sleep, a sleep that was inturpted with a jolt as the ship slowly fell out of hyperspace.

Looks like I'm home again

The enemy fighters quickly got over their confusion of having an enemy in their midst and started to swarm towards Tython. Tython dodged allowing his instincts to take over but the enemies shots just kept getting closer and closer. Just as he was about to get hit and he thought there was no way to stop it two jedi ships cut through the enemy formation. Tython quickly flew into a rough formation with the jedi only flying off course when he could get an enemy fighter that got too close.

The sith ships quickly go over there surprise and gave chase, when they finally caught up with the jedi Tython and his group broke in all directions. This tactic split the enemy fighters into small groups. Tython and the two jedis then proceeded to fly through formations of enemy fighters causing those following them to vear off or collide with their own pilots. After flying around for a short time using the enemies numbers against him, Tython found himself on the outside of the battle and saw that although the jedi were excellent pilots they were slowly being beaten by the shear number of the enemies. Tython dived back into the fray just as the first wing of fighters from the planet engaged the second wing of enemy fighters (there are 120 fighters in each enemy wing).

All the sith fighters were focused on the jedi so Tython found it very easy to fly into the enemy swarm and pick off one or two of the enemy before flying to the relative safety of the other side. Even though Tython was destroying many of the enemy ships the jedi were still hard presses to survive the siths onslaught. Just as Tython was sure that the enemy were going to get them the enemy fighters started to scatter. Tython looked around trying to find the source of their sudden fear and found it in the Sirius V. The air seemed to clear and all the enemy ships were gone fleeing before the wing of fighters that had been launched from the Sirius V. As Tython pressed the enemy ships without getting shot by the enemy cruisers that had arived and where starting to turn and fight the Sirius V. He almost collapsed with relief knowing that he had fought and survived an entire wave of enemy fighter. With only the help of a few jedi he had personally destroyed 53 enemy ships in a single battle. Then the thought struck him, “That was the highest record Tython had ever heard of!!â€

T'char watched as the massive capital ships blinked into existence about the battle. Despite his considerable success in defeating the initial wave of fighters, T'char new that Tython and his comrades had no chance if all the sith cruisers began launching flights of fighters. There was only one path of action available - T'char would have to take out at least one of the enemy ships, otherwise the defending forces would be annihilated. With only the vaguest of plans in mind, his accelerated out of orbit toward the opposition cruisers, broadcasting an urgent mayday call. Edited by tchar

A message flashed across Tythons mind. "Mayday. Mayday. This is the Nighthawk I. Have taken exstensive damage and am requesting assistance.". "No!! Not T'char!!" Tython thought. "I've already paid for another 10 hours of training." He watched in horror as the Nighthawk I flew towards the enemy cruisers. "Goodbye T'char. You where my one true friend and trainer." said Tython as he charged back into the fray.

As he closed in on the nearest sith cruiser, T'char searched NightHawk's memory databanks for an ancient program, one that he hadn't used in far too long. A slimy, reptilian grin spread across his face as the AI located and loaded the program. Everything was going perfectly...

"Pilot of NightHawk I, this is the the Scorcher acknowledging your mayday." came the call from the cruiser. "We understand that you have suffered major engine and environmental damage. We have facilities for you and your craft, should you be able to prove that you are not an enemy combatant. Please identify yourself as such."

T'char opened a secure comm channel. "This is T'char, pilot of NightHawk I. I am a bounty hunter working on a government sactioned mission in this sector. The bounty number is LKD-014875I, and is for a captain Sol Sebala. I was attempting to land on the planet when i was intercepted by native fighters on approach."

"Scorcher copies all, NightHawk I. Permision granted to approach the ship, provided a full system diagnostic is broadcast for our verification."

Perfect. T'char was bargaining on this happening - it was a typical for a sith captian to request a full system scan before letting any ship dock with his cruiser. This captain had not let him down. T'char pressed the transmit button, activating the ancient program in the computer's core, sending the bogus diagnostic transmission to the sith cruiser.

With luck it would be out of action before they noticed the virus hidden in the broadcast...

"I thank you, my friend, for it is in your death that the Scorekeeper finds my true worth."

Once the ship was safely in the hanger bay, Séreméla unholstered her blaster and escorted the human from the holding cell to the same pub where she had last recieved payment for her services. It was notorious for hosting black market activity and assassins, but so far the local authorities had been unable to do anything about it.

Holding her prisoner firmly by the arm with her blaster trained on his head she sat them both down at an inconspicuous table in the corner and waited for the client to make contact. She doubted he’d show up in person - it was too risky. No, more likely he’d send a slave, and most likely his most muscular slave.

Séreméla wanted to be sure there would be no cause for it to employ any of it’s muscle, so she sat the human next to the wall and sat next to him, making sure she was between him and the way out.

She thought it unlikely that he’d try anything with her blaster to account for, but he had shown a lot of spirit so far…

OOC: there you go krytos, now it’s up to you to do something dramatic. Either you can go with the ‘client’ and somehow get info/escape or you can make a wild dash to escape from me! Or you can come up with another scenario, but I thought I’d leave the ball in your court for now. :D

Rantar sat camly at the table, with the blaster restingly heavily against his temple. Rantar gave a very audable yawn as he and his captor waited for who ever was coming for him. He'd kept a careful eye on where the were for a later reference - if . . . no, when he made it out of this he'd be coming back here.

His yawn caught the attention of a few near by aliens - all saw the gun visably pushed against his head. None cared either, Good. Hopefully they wont care if I kill anyone either.

Out of the shadows emerged a very large and mascular alien - of a species he couldn't identify. The creatures skin was red, and it looked more like a monster from some hidden world or hell. It walked up to the table and took a seat - staring straight at his captor.

In a incredibly deep voice, that made Rantar's headache worse, it spoke. "The boss says good work mercanery. Here's your pay." It's large red hand slid across a pile of credits, to his surprise his captor didn't look at all happy with the amount. The creature continued. "The boss says to come back here tomorrow to recieve the rest - he would like to make sure that the human makes it to him."

It was obvious that they didn't trust the merc. She nodded while glarring at him - a silent threat. Slowly she walked off with her credits and left the building.

Turning to the creature, Rantar spoke first, "Well, I thought she'd never leave us alone - how about y..." He was cut short as the hulking creature reached across the table and grabbed him. It then proceeded to lift Rantar into the air and take him out a back door.

They were out side now, the night was dark and there were no lights in the alley behind the bar. The creature firmly held the link between Rantar's binders as it lifted him along. A quick grin crept onto Rantar's face as his escape commenced.

Pulling free one hand from the sabataged binder, Rantar removed the vibroblade and in a sweeping motion cut the wrist of the creatures hand. It tosted its head back screaming and dropping Rantar, and as expected no-one came to see what happened. Rolling onto his feet, Rantar turned around and kicked the eight foot tall creature between its legs - dropping it to the ground. Quickly moving, he punched it in the throat and moved behind it before it could even grasp at it's collapsed wind pipe. Once behind him, Rantar quickly cupped his hands and clapped the creatures ears causing them to burst. It fell to the ground in agony. Nodding at the effective incapacitation he'd just performed, Rantar put his knee on the creatures spin and rested the vibroblade on the creatures throught.

"Now, lets talk . . . "

EDIT:

OOC: Is that dramiatic enough :)

Josson and Afton sat at a small table drinking ale and talking, then Afton said.

"Josson...I need to ask a favor. I have joined with some Jedi and I am going on a mission. I may need some help and seeing as you can fly and your a good marksman I thought you would be happy to join me. We are going to meet at a bar in town somewhere to have a briefing and then go our seperate ways. Would you be able to accompany me please, and if you know anyone who me be interested in joining us maybe we could become quite unstoppable if you know what I mean."

Josson was quiet for a moment, then he replied.

"I don't know Afton...I'd love to but I am quite tied up here, but I do know someone that might want to help. I could get in contact with them and wee could go from there." He looked at Afton closely.

"Could you just see if you could get away for a while. I mean you probably deserve a break or something." Afton begged.

"Ok...I'll see what I can do," he sighed giving in to her persistence.

"Great we'll be in touch then," she said getting up.

"I'll see you soon." With that she left the room...

Solla Chi'dina was hanging upside down from the hull of her ship, a light modified frigate known as the, Twi'lek Pearl, making a few small repairs to the engines outside of the ship. She wasn't planning on sticking around to long and was hoping to have her repairs done shortly. She wasn't the best shot in the galaxy but she could fly circles around most other pilots, she had picked up a welder and started fusing a plate back to the hull when her comlink went off, she dropped the welder and it hit the floor of the docking bay. "Shoot," said sighing and activating her comlink, "You've got Solla."

"It's not my fault!"

"Oh yeah? What's in it for me?"

After Afton had gone Josson picked up his commlink.

Better get in contact with Solla then he thought and turned on his commlink.

"Solla Liuetenant Josson here. Could you come to my office imediately please. I have something important to discuss with you."

Once he had sent the massage he walked into his office and closed the door. He needed some time to think.

Picking up his office commlink and called the Admiral.

"Sir I am requesting a transfer. A friend of mine has asked me to help her on a mission being run by two Jedi, Barkoa and his acomplace. I was wundering if I could join them and take Solla with me?"

"If you think this is apropriate and needed then I guess that is alright with me. And you may take Solla with you if you wish. Its about time she was had a change in scenery." Came the Admiral's reply.

"Thankyou sir," he said then hug up.

Just then their was a knock at the door.

"Come in Solla......."

Barkoa continued to take out fighters. many of the ships were fleeing now. The Sirius used its huge ion cannons to disable three of the larger frigates, leaving them sitting ducks. The swarms of fighters targetted them and started leaving pillars of fire exploding over them. Another large cruiser came over as if to help, but did nothing. Its turboblasters weren't firing either which was uncanny, but wasn't enough to stop the Mouvians from blasting it to pieces. They were achieving victory!

***

The battle had been over for several hours now, but still a few persistent fighters tried to cause whatever trouble they could. Piles of space junk orbited the planet while other pieces burned up in the atmosphere. Damage crews flew around, trying to clean up.

Barkoa flew his ship down to the planet. The rest of the army was going to the moon of Phalax, but Barkoa would need to go and visit someone before he did anything. He set his coordinates for his home in Rytoz. As he neared the large city, his heart was warmed. He had spent very little time there in the last five years. The city was covered in a reddish hue as the sun was setting over that part of the planet. The complex landscape was reflected on the placid sea that the city was nestled by. The beauty and serenity was enough to make anyone lose their breath.

His ship continued to descend. He was nearly there.

Solla had a bit of trouble unhooking herself from the hull but she finally got it and walked down to Josson's office. She was a bit neverious about the circumstances but she hurried anyway. She knocked and heard, "Come in, Solla." and she entered. "You..wanted to see me sir?"

"It's not my fault!"

When Solla entered Josson made sure he was seated behind his desk. He liked to keep things formal especially when dealing with others that he was in charge of. He was a no nonsense type of guy and he took his work very seriously.

He fixed his uniform then placing his hands on his desk he addressed Solla.

“At ease Solla, please take a seat. I have been informed of a mission that is about to take place. I have been asked to assist in this mission. I was also asked if I knew anyone that would be willing to help out. I immediately thought of you. You are great with all that you do and I was wondering if you would be willing to join us? Before you give me your answer I will just give you a run through. There has been an explosion on a near by planet and the only survivor was rescued only then to be stolen by an unknown ship. The mission is to find out where this man is and if he is still alive to rescue him. Would you be willing to join us?â€

Solla rolled the thought over in her mind. "Yes, sir. I'll be ready when you need me. I just need to finish a few more repairs. When do we leave?" She asked as she was backing towards the door...

"It's not my fault!"

"Oh yeah? What's in it for me?"

Josson smiled while he waited for Solla’s reply. When she finally said yes he smiled all the more.

“Great. Well be ready to leave here at 2000 hours. Oh and Solla please be prepared for the worst, we are dealing with highly trained marc’s here.â€
