Who's your favorite Star Wars MOVIE character?

Favourite character - that's easy: Wedge Antillies

 

Why? Because he's probably the best pilot in the galaxy, and NOT a jedi or force sensitive (all skill ), he helped blow up both Death Stars and the list goes on. Later he becomes a great strategist as a general, especially during the New Jedi Order against the Yuuzhan Vong

 

Other favourites, hmmmm. Well there's Kell Tainer- because he's funny, skillful and well he gets to play with explosives:D

Good old Darth, evil, evil and more evil.

Pretty mysterious until Lucas screwed up with his prequels.

 

In the EU: Well there Corran and Thrawn on the top, with Tainer, Phanan and Janson close behind him. (Right, Janson is in the movies, but he hardly has dialogue, he is much better in the novels)

Wedge Antilles because he is so cool. I also love the droid duo (C3PO&R2D2). In the Book I must say I love every single member of Rogue Squadron

In the movies - Vader. Because he is Vader.

I also like Piett and Ackbar, and Han has his moments.

 

Elsewhere - Wedge (not so great in the movies as afterwards) followed by Thrawn, Janson, Tycho and Hobbie and the Wraiths.

Well, I forgot to add my Favorite EU Character! I would have to say though, it is between Grand Admiral Thrawn and Face of Wraith Squadron.

In the EU, well in my mind I ignore most all of what everyones written about her because only Zahn pulls her off, Mara Jade.

I agree, Stellar, Zahn created Mara Jade, and he was the only person to really able to descibe her best. The other author's have done well, but no one can out do your own works. Besides, Zahn is the greatest of all the SW authors anyway.

Ooh, I forgot Admiral Rogriss, my favourite Imp besides Piett, Thrawn and Pellaeon.

Rogriss, was a good enemy he wasn't viscious or overbearing like all to many Imperial Commanders. He saw a job and did it the best he could.

 

Of course when given vile orders he defected, kinda honor bound.

In the films my favorite is as always Darth Vader- I love a good villian. I also like Grand Moff Tarkin and Piett.In EU there are a few Daala, Thrawn, Paelleon, and of course "Iceheart" Ysanne Isard. Both Daala and Isard had much more potential than the writers gave them.-Grand Moff Conway

I don't know magic, Mara had a temper, no argument there, but Isard would kill you if you glanced her way. I think Mara would let looking at her slide if it was not for than 3 seconds.

Based solely on the OT, and since my avatar wasn't on the list (AHEM! ), I'm going to go with Wedge, although Han is a close second. Piett is another goodie. Lt. Page is another favorite of mine.

 

Favorite book characters are TMTC, but I'd have to go with Tycho Celchu, Kell Tainer, Wes Janson, and Corran Horn. And Thrawn...can't forget Thrawn.

Sure Isard's frightening but she never really gets her hands dirty. Its not like she'd stick a blaster in your gut and pull the trigger for looking at her, otherwise Palpy would have long been dead...
