Mon Calamari Cruiser

The Mon Calamari Cruiser is an Alliance capital ship in Star Wars: Rebellion. The encyclopedia describes it as a converted spaceliner, about 1,200 metres long, with an organic-looking cylindrical hull. It is hard to repair and service because of its many redundant systems, but those same systems make it very dependable in battle.

In the game

It is one of the Alliance's heavy line ships. It carries three fighter squadrons and one troop regiment, and its broadside turbolasers are twice as strong as its fore and aft ones.

Compared with the Empire's Imperial Star Destroyer, it costs less refined material (92 against 112) and has a smaller hull (2,400 against 2,750), but a higher total attack strength (560 against 480) and better damage control. Both have 300 shields.

Stats

Cost, capacity, shield and weapon-arc figures come from the in-game encyclopedia and match the game's data file exactly. The other values come straight from the data file. Some of them, such as the hyperdrive and maneuverability ratings, are internal numbers that the manual does not explain, so they are best used to compare ships.

25th Anniversary patch

The 25th Anniversary patch (3.0.9770) renames this ship the MC80 Liberty Cruiser. It keeps the same game slot and identical stats. See the separate MC80 Liberty Cruiser article.
