Acclamator Drop Ship

The Acclamator Drop Ship is an Acclamator-class transport and assault ship built by Rothana Heavy Engineering, a Republic-era design later adapted for Galactic Empire service.

Acclamator Drop Ship is a ship in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the game slot that the original game gives to the Galleon, and has that slot's costs and stats.

History

Mainly these ships moved troops and landed them, rapidly putting ground forces and vehicles such as walkers and speeder bikes into action. They first became famous at the Battle of Geonosis, where the Clone Wars began. Acclamator-class vessels carried heavy weapons, so they also worked as assault ships able to fight in space and against ground targets. When the Clone Wars ended, the Galactic Empire adapted some of the transports and kept them in service in a different role. Their layout also shaped later Imperial ships, leaving a lasting mark on military shipbuilding.

In the game

The patch gives the slot a new name and identity but keeps its stats: a field-by-field comparison with the original game data finds no differences. Everything in the Galleon article's stats applies here too.
