Trandosha
Trandosha is a temperate world of forests, jungles and plains, home to the native Trandoshans. Its economy supplies technology, mercenaries, slaves and detectives.
Trandosha is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Cona.
History
Trandosha stayed associated with its people's fame as skilled hunters and mercenaries. Though the Trandoshans were allied with the Empire, they found their position more uncertain. As conflict engulfed the galaxy, their talents remained in demand and they often worked for different factions. Amid the turmoil they sought to preserve their traditions, notably the Great Hunt, a rite of passage testing young warriors, which kept their martial culture strong despite instability.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Crossroads sector; the original game calls it the Mayagil sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
