Sullust (25th Anniversary patch)
Sullust is a hot volcanic world with a molten surface, home to the native Sullustans and some Humans. Its factories turn out starfighters and assault shuttles.
Sullust is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Bespin.
History
Sullust grew into a strategically important site during the struggle between the Empire and the Rebel Alliance. It housed the SoroSuub Corporation, which supplied ships and technology to both sides. Residents felt pulled two ways: allegiance to the Empire, or the freedom promised by the Alliance. As the war continued, several engagements between the factions took place there, making the planet a major battleground. In time, a group within SoroSuub sided with the Alliance and put the company's resources to work for the rebellion, feeding the conflict further.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Outer Rim West sector; the original game calls it the Churba sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
