Ruusan
Ruusan is a temperate world of canyons, caves, desert, lakes and rivers. Native Ruusanians and Bouncers live alongside Humans and others, and the planet yields technology, food and ore.
Ruusan is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Urdur.
History
Ruusan's history stands as evidence of its importance in ancient conflicts. It was the site of the climactic Battle of Ruusan, which ended the New Sith Wars and led to the Sith adopting the Rule of Two. Its strategic value had faded long before, yet its legacy survived in galactic memory. The scarred terrain served as a quiet reminder of the destructive power struggles fought there and of their effect on the course of galactic history.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Crossroads sector; the original game calls it the Mayagil sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
