Rodia
Rodia is a hot, humid world of jungles, swamps and oceans, home to the native Rodians as well as Yuuzhan Vong, Chazrach and Humans. Its economy covers food, luxury goods, bounty hunters, weapons technology and exotic animals.
Rodia is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Ruuria.
History
Rodia went through turmoil as the wider galaxy slid into war. Its government suffered internal quarrels and power struggles among rival factions. Even so, the planet kept its name as a refuge for bounty hunters and mercenaries, pulling in people from all over who wanted work or sought to avoid capture. Its talented hunters stayed much sought after and were hired by different sides in the conflict. Throughout, Rodia remained an influential, in-demand supplier of expertise for the galaxy's criminal world.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Wild Space sector; the original game calls it the Xappyh sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
