Pasaana
Pasaana is an arid, remote desert planet of dunes, shrubland and mountains, and it is the native homeland of the Aki-Aki people, who keep a rich festival tradition.
Pasaana is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Kothlis.
History
Pasaana is a remote desert planet that the war between the Empire and the Rebel Alliance has mostly left alone. Its native Aki-Aki carried on their traditional way of life and held their bright Festival of the Ancestors once every 42 years, a celebration that shows their cultural identity and resilience in isolation. While the rest of the galaxy fought, the planet and its people stayed largely apart, concerned with their own customs and surroundings.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Inner Rim sector; the original game calls it the Sluis sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
