Nubia
Nubia is a temperate, urban world with a mixed population including Aqualish, Humans, Ithorians, Miraluka, Mon Calamari, Nikto and Rodians, producing food, ore, starship parts and astromech droids.
Nubia is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Berchest.
History
Nubia's place in the galaxy shifted. A well-known shipbuilding center, its yards had long delivered vessels across the galaxy, the Galactic Empire included. After the Empire's major setback, Nubia redirected its efforts toward the growing Rebel Alliance, offering advanced, high-quality starships. Its shipyards became essential for furnishing the Alliance with dependable craft, which let the Rebellion keep its momentum against the Empire. Though risky, Nubia stayed committed to helping the fight for freedom while carefully handling a complex political situation.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Core Worlds South sector; the original game calls it the Fakir sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
