Muunilinst
Muunilinst is a temperate world of plains, forests, hills, mountains and cities, home to the Muun, and a producer of food, consumer goods and metals.
Muunilinst is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Nam'ta.
History
Muunilinst, homeworld of the Muuns and seat of the InterGalactic Banking Clan, went through a period of uncertainty. It had played a large part in funding the Clone Wars, backing the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems alike. After the Galactic Empire rose, the planet's financial sector faced closer oversight and tighter rules. The Banking Clan, once highly influential, lost power as the Empire consolidated control of the galaxy. Despite these setbacks, Muunilinst stayed a significant financial center and adapted to the new political order.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Outer Rim North sector; the original game calls it the Atrivis sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
