Nevarro

Nevarro is an ashen, rocky and volcanic world inhabited by a wide mix of species, including Humans, Jawas, Rodians, Trandoshans, Twi'leks, Zabrak, Aqualish and Mon Calamari.

Nevarro is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Davnar.

History

Nevarro stayed a refuge for criminals and outcasts on the galaxy's edge. With no central government, factions such as the Bounty Hunters' Guild kept a strong foothold. The fall of the Galactic Empire gave the criminal underworld a chance to consolidate its hold further, drawing many people who sought shelter or opportunity. Though the Rebel Alliance and Imperial remnants were still fighting, Nevarro's distance and low strategic value left it mostly undisturbed, so it kept serving as a base for those living outside the law.

In the game

In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Western Reaches sector; the original game calls it the Kanchen sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
