Lotho Minor

Lotho Minor is a hot junkyard world of scrap mountains, caverns and tunnels lashed by acid rain, home to native Junkers alongside Anacondans, Dathomirian Zabrak and Duro. Its economy runs on refuse and salvage.

Lotho Minor is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Xa Fel.

History

Lotho Minor remained a shelter for outcasts and scavengers. Its terrain of scrap heaps and waste made it a good place for people avoiding notice or fleeing persecution. Despite harsh conditions it drew assorted individuals and factions, among them criminal organizations and exiles. With little strategic worth to major powers, residents were mostly left alone. Throughout the era the planet stayed a mysterious, hazardous place known for dangerous ground and disreputable residents.

In the game

In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Western Reaches sector; the original game calls it the Kanchen sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
