Kuat

From Star Wars: Rebellion Wiki 25th Anniversary patch

Kuat is a temperate Human world of plains and forests whose economy covers starships, machinery, electronics, raw materials, food, alcohol, art and luxury goods.

Kuat is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Ketaris.

History

Kuat's standing as a shipbuilding and manufacturing center grew markedly. The planet housed Kuat Drive Yards, a celebrated builder of many kinds of vessels, among them ships for the Empire. As Imperial demand for warships and materials climbed, Kuat's factories turned out far more than before. That raised the world's strategic worth, making it an attractive objective both for Imperial forces guarding their interests and for the Rebellion hoping to hinder the Empire's military machinery.

In the game

In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Colonies sector; the original game calls it the Dolomar sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
