Imperial I Star Destroyer

The Imperial I Star Destroyer is an Imperial I-class Star Destroyer built by Kuat Drive Yards, the iconic capital ship through which the Galactic Empire projects its military power.

History

Few things symbolize Imperial military might as well as this Star Destroyer. Such massive warships lay at the heart of the Galactic Empire's plan to enforce control and spread fear. Heavily armed, and able to carry many TIE fighters, stormtroopers and assorted ground vehicles; the Imperial I-class was effective in both fleet actions and planetary assaults. Once the Death Star had been destroyed, these ships took a leading role in the Empire's attempts to crush the Rebel Alliance and hold the galaxy. Their imposing appearance in many battles reflected the Empire's trust in great power and technical superiority.

In the game

The patch gives the slot a new name and identity but keeps its stats: a field-by-field comparison with the original game data finds no differences. Everything in the Imperial Star Destroyer article's stats applies here too.
