Iridonia
Iridonia is an arid world of acid pools and windy canyons, home to the native Zabrak. Its economy rests on food, technology and the mining of yarrock.
Iridonia is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Pzob.
History
Iridonia stays famous for its martial traditions and warrior culture. As the Galactic Empire tightened its grip, the native Zabrak met difficulties but remained fiercely independent. During the Galactic Civil War their fighting skill became ever more prized, and both the Empire and the Rebel Alliance tried to recruit or conscript Iridonian warriors. Through the shifting political situation, the world preserved its distinct identity and its martial heritage while managing the demands of the wider conflict.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Mid Rim North sector; the original game calls it the Moddell sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
