Gamorr (25th Anniversary patch)
Gamorr is a temperate world of forests and croplands, home to native Gamorreans and the Hepmaga MiOrd's species. It exports melee weapons, food, technology, mercenaries and slaves.
Gamorr is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Daltar.
History
Gamorr stays fairly isolated from the wider galactic war. Its people carried on their long-standing tribal rivalries, with warrior clans fighting over dominance and land. The planet's remoteness and its fierce population mostly discouraged outside interference, so traditional life continued. Even so, word of Gamorr's mercenaries spread, attracting those who wanted formidable fighters. This outside interest fed internal strife as rival clans competed for the most profitable contracts and alliances, confirming the planet's place as a world rooted in martial tradition and conflict.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Bothan Space sector; the original game calls it the Orus sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
