Gamor
Gamor is a planet in the Inner Rim with few recorded details about its terrain, inhabitants or economy, known mainly as a world of long-running conflict and rivalry.
Gamor is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Mon Calamari.
History
Gamor, a world already marked by strife and struggles for power, grew even more unstable in recent times. With the Empire absorbed by the widening galactic war, rival factions on the planet competed for control, bringing more clashes and political scheming among the locals. The world turned into a center of intrigue and espionage as groups tried to take advantage of the vacuum of power and secure their positions. While the larger conflict played out, Gamor's people kept fighting among themselves, forming alliances and betraying one another amid shifting loyalties. The constant conflict left a lasting mark, making the world a byword for discord and ambition.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Inner Rim sector; the original game calls it the Sluis sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
