Dolla
Dolla is a planet in the Outer Rim West. Little is recorded of its geology, peoples or economy, but it became a strategic base for the Rebel Alliance.
Dolla is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Storthus.
History
Dolla went through a major political change. It had been firmly held by the Galactic Empire, but a triggering event set off a wave of resistance movements. These groups merged into one front and drove the Empire from the region. Dolla then turned into a key stronghold of the expanding Rebel Alliance, supplying vital resources and backing for rebel operations. Its higher standing drew a varied population and a lively multicultural society. Despite the continuing war, the world prospered and came to stand for resilience and hope.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Outer Rim West sector; the original game calls it the Churba sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
