Dellalt
Dellalt is a humid world of lakes, mountains and plains, inhabited by the native Dellaltians and by Humans. It was previously known for its vast archives.
Dellalt is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Sedri.
History
Dellalt gains importance. Long known for vast archives, it became a strategic site for Rebels and Imperials alike. The Empire wanted to use its historical knowledge as a weapon, while the Rebels wanted to preserve it, and to protect these resources the Alliance built a hidden base there. When Imperial forces found the Rebel presence, they launched repeated attacks that wrecked much infrastructure and many historical sites. Both sides fought fiercely for the stored information. As the war grew, the local population suffered and Dellalt came to symbolize the contest between the factions. How it ends is still unclear, leaving the planet's fate undecided.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Tingel Arm sector; the original game calls it the Glythe sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
