Dantooine is a star system in the Mayagil sector of Star Wars: Rebellion. It is an attractive blue and brown planet, far from busy galactic routes and lacking industry or advanced technology. Savannas of lavender grass and blba trees cover it. About four millennia ago, the Jedi Master Vodo-Siosk Baas set up a training center among its ruins. Centuries later it was for a time an Alliance base, evacuated at some point after the Death Star went into service.
In the game
Dantooine is a Rim system in the Mayagil sector. The sector is used in every galaxy size, and a standard galaxy has 10 sectors, a large one 15 and a huge one 20, each with 10 systems.
The 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770 puts a different world, Kashyyyk, in this system's slot.
