Cyphar

From Star Wars: Rebellion Wiki 25th Anniversary patch

Cyphar is a dry, rocky planet of grasslands, deserts and canyons, home to the native Cyphari and to Humans. Its terrain is harsh and its wildlife dangerous.

Cyphar is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Anoat.

History

Cyphar was a stony planet with a punishing climate and a long past. Its distant position let smugglers and criminals shelter there from the law. The Empire built several military bases on it, since the rough terrain and hazardous fauna suited troop training and weapons trials. The Rebel Alliance was present too, running its own covert operations from the planet. Despite this strategic value, Cyphar stayed little known elsewhere, a mysterious and perilous place for any visitor.

In the game

In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Outer Rim West sector; the original game calls it the Churba sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
