Boonta
Boonta is a dry planet of barren wastelands, inhabited by Humans and Hutts. No particular trade goods are recorded for it, and its history is largely one of political shifts.
Boonta is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Rishi.
History
Boonta went through political and social change, set off by the decline of the ruling galactic regime and the Rebellion's rise. Its local government, first loyal to that regime, split internally as factions competed for power. Traditional and new customs blended in the culture, and refugees arrived from nearby war zones. Population growth brought swift urbanization and new infrastructure, while technology, especially in communication and transport, advanced quickly and improved connectivity and the exchange of ideas. Despite continuing power struggles, Boonta kept some stability while residents adjusted to the shifting politics, earning the planet a name for resilience and adaptability.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Outer Rim East sector; the original game calls it the Farfin sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
