Ansion

Ansion is a world of grassy plains, hills and plateaus, populated by native Ansionians and Gwurrans as well as Armalat, Humans and Hutts. It trades in consumer goods, technology, food, knives and textiles.

Ansion is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Annaj.

History

Ansion, a member of the Galactic Republic, gained prominence in this troubled period. While the galaxy sought to recover stability, its inhabitants worked to preserve peace and encourage cooperation among themselves. Wide grasslands and scattered forests made the terrain well suited to diplomatic meetings and gatherings. The planet also became known for distinctive bioluminescent flora that drew researchers from far away. Together, diplomacy and scientific study built close ties with neighboring systems and supported lasting stability and prosperity.

In the game

In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Mid Rim North sector; the original game calls it the Moddell sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
