Ahch-to

Ahch-to is a temperate ocean planet dotted with islands in an archipelago, inhabited by the native Lanai as well as a number of humans, in a remote region of space.

Ahch-to is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Selaggis.

History

Ahch-To is a distant place that various people have lived on over the ages. Its earliest past is poorly known, but a religious order that held the old Jedi writings sacred once lived there. More recently it served as a place of banishment for a notable figure wanting to withdraw from the wider galaxy. Even so, assorted galactic factions stayed curious about it and hoped to uncover what its ancient structures conceal.

In the game

In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Unknown Regions sector; the original game calls it the Quelli sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
