GenCore Level II

From Star Wars: Rebellion Wiki Original 1.02

GenCore Level II is a planetary defense facility in Star Wars: Rebellion, available to both sides. GenCores produce planetary shields that guard a system against orbital bombardment. The Type II delivers half again as much shielding power as the older Type I and costs less to maintain.

In the game

The GenCore Level II costs 20 refined material to build and 7 to maintain.

The infobox values come from the game's data file.

Two shields on a system make a planetary assault impossible, though a determined enemy may knock one out by bombardment or sabotage. The Level II shield becomes available to both sides only through research and development.
