Well, I don't really have time to read up on the progress today, but I figured I might as well show off my old pic I made to introduce and organize some ideas I came up with and old ones. Okay, so here's how this works. This is a list of ships at a planet. First is the solar defenses including space stations and stationed fighter squadrons, second the fleets in the solar system, and then fleets traveling to the solar system. I'm not quite sure why there are listings from two solar systems. Anyway, next is the funding, which either in Credits or Maintainance Points, I forgot which. Funding affects performance and repair, just like personel does. For instance, if a squadron is shot down, they need another pilot to pilot the new fighter. Anyway, red means bad, yellow satisfactory, and green good.[/img]

Interesting idea, having looked at the picture. I presume it would be tweaked a little to fit in with whatever design we end up with. I'm not onvinced it's better than the current method of keeping track of status yet.

to me it seem alot like some online games i've played and it also looks like sim city. I would have to vote on keeping the current system.

actually, on splat boom, there both a description for the same action, so you have to use one or the other becaues if you boom there aint no splat and if you splat there aint no boom
