Imps Space: ISD, VSD, Tartan, Interdictor, Broadside, Fighter, Bomber, Scout, Acclamator, IPV 1 Imperial Patrol Vessel

 

Rebs Space: A-Wing, X-Wing, Y-Wing, Nebulon B, Assault Frigate MK2, MC80, Corellian Corvette, Corellian Gunship, Z-95 Headhunter, Maraduder Missle Cruiser

 

So this shows that Venator is no longer there. Good thing we have our mods.

yes the Venator may be gone from the official site but we have had Delphi state that he is in unless Delphi says anything on here about it for me it's still in there.

the tartin and the patrol vessel are one-in-the-same, so you only have 9 listed.

They better not have taken it out, an actually star wars vessel, and left the broadside and Tarting crap in.

and the fact that the venator removal is explained in EU.

why would they take the game BACKWARDS! it doesnt make any sense because you would have to remove most of the existing units to do it, it makes more sense to go forwards and progress to the ROTJ technology!

It's a shame that they removed it. Here are my predictions:

 

They will make an expansion that adds Empire strikes back and return of the jedi missions and scenarios. In this expansion they may include clone wars era units/ships for skirmish missions only, and or for you to use in custom scenarios.

 

This was really a last minute decesion seeing that it was there and then they just removed it. Makes me sad.

Since Delphi mentioned that Mustafar will serve its purpose in due time, and yet didn't confirm a CW-era expansion, I think the Venator and the CW worlds will show up in a post-ANH expansion pack.

I think they removed it just to tick us off and see how well we can handle it.

They may have had difficulty with the balancing of the Venator, so instead they had to remove it. Also LA could have axed and thus another of the 50 models bites the dust.

TBH i dont give a ratass about the retail shiplist or popcap anymore the overall game eng is what i want out, after the modders change the pop cap add in tons of more units and planets we will have the good eaw game but not till then.

Thats exactly what i've been tryig to get you guys to ask for the past 2 Q/A rounds word for word!! But no, someone wanted to ask the lamest question ever concived about how the speeders fly instead!!

I don't understand why the Acclamator - a MUCH older ship - remains, while the Venator is axed. Why don't they just axe the useless Broadside Cruiser if they want to remove a ship model? No one gives a shit about the fate of the Broadside.

 

If this is indeed a prelude to a Clone Wars expansion, I refuse to buy that expansion out of principle. Games should be completed.

As anyone confirmed if the Venator was actually removed(from Delphi), if it was then this sucks.

 

Really not because it is one of my favorite ships but simply because the empire as to start with a heavy ship. How could it maintain order with frigates and Tie fighters, besides it will be made obsolete by the Imperator later on.

The Victory-class was already in service at the time, so that should work well.
