What better thread to make this post, than this one, so here goes:

Ssssomebody stop me

Finally it has happened. 2000 posts by me, even before Jahled came this far, or someone else had 3000

(btw, Zoot: you can stop sabotaging Jahled's pc now)

Of course, I've prepared a little something to celebrate this event, but this

time the location is a bit smaller.

It's "just" an island, but what an island that is

enter here !

What ? My new rank ? It's gonna be .... you'll see soon

WOO!

Off to the Caribbean!

Seems like I'm the first to congratulate you on this. It's certainly have been 2000 greats posts! But now isn't the time for speeches, it's:

PARTY TIME

WOO YAY! Congratulations! 2000 valuable posts indeed!

Have a drink!

LET'S PARTY!

Thanks guys, the conga line just started.

Party time, indeed

WOOO YAY INDEED!

TO THE FRIDGE... cause this party's swinging... and we're all going to see in the dawn...

with fun and fluffiness... had by all!

...and I got to say well done getting this far, you beat me by a longish wisker!

Congratulations, Mask! An excellent climax to all of the buildup.

bows

First of all, I would like to thank the Academy, my friends, family, ...

The party's still rolling, 'cause I payed for the island in advance for the whole week

There was this weird salesman, who kept talking and talking and after 30 minutes he had to breathe again, so I asked about discount. That's when he told me of this "Grog-week discount"

You could have gotten it cheaper if you told him that you were brining TK along, after all clones get you group discounts.

doh

I forgot that But maybe Jahled will remember it

I forgot that But maybe Jahled will remember it

Maybe, maybe not!!!

This is my 2000th post on this site!

I did sort of have something prepared in the way of celebrating this awesome achievement, but it ended up being around 6 mgs which whould utterly defeat my crap internet connection from home. Anyway, I cant get the 'punchline' to work.... image ready...mutter...mumble....curse

So I guess all there is to do is say cool for all the fun i've had with you guys over the years, excellent conversation and laughs in the forums with surprisingly intelligent people whatever their alignment in argument; and one huge wow for everything dudes on this site have achieved for the game! When I discovered the site a long time before I took the bold step of joining, I had no idea how new models and programe mods could transform the game; but how they have, and how they can!

I've got to say something about this game; La_Forge uttered something about it being 'evergreen,' not so long ago. I've often wondered wondered why it still enthralls me, as it does obviously us all, as much as it does. But tonight in photoshop I realized perhaps why, reworking the Assault Frigate; how many other strategy games offer as much scope in our involvement and manipulation? We can individualize our games; our perception of the Star Wars universe to the extents of our own imaginations; and embark on epic-gamming on a truely galactic scale.

Anyways, thank you for having me amongst you! The trip has been seriously excellent, the travellers around me an amazingly diverse and refreshing band of SW comrades, and the site an excellent come-down to an otherwise absurd and slightly chaotic life! I came here as an office manager responsible for twelve or so people, went back on the road as a despatch rider here in London, and am presently one of those complete lunes you see up trees in your high street with a chain saw attached to their belt!

Respect Mask, Evaders, La_Forge, Trej, Elvis, Tex, Dinochick, Scathe, SOCL, CAIN, and all you others.... there is some positive creativity bubbling at the moment.... until we crack the SC, let's see how much fun we can uncracking stuff ourselves!

Respect fellas..

Let me be the first ...congrats Jahled and keep up the good work

try the PM that I've send you last time

As I do not know who said this first on SWR ... ...for you a big WOO & WOO and a WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...

for your big heart

PS. See the power of the second WOO it enlarges the site

Congratulations Jahled! The girl is very cute!

I think I can speak in the name of the other too, when I say, without you this community would be too, umm... normal(?) We certainly need you here, and demand atleast 2000 more posts from you! Seriously now, I'm wishing you all the best, and I hope that you stay just as motivated (and freaky), as you were in the past years. Thank you, for being here Dude!

Woo Yay!!!

( Cain, you could really edit your post, the page is now extremly oversized and hard to read)

That's extremely woo La_Forge!!!

Booyakasha !!!

Big it up for ma man Jahled

Respect to you for being here and for making our journey to the west such a funny one

I'm wondering what your new rank shall be

WOO!!!

Congrats, man!!!! You and your fiendish feline definetely have enhanced this site over the years, let's hope we get many more posts (and Gifs) from you, my friend.

Congrats my man.

I'm wondering what your new rank shall be

I sort of figure on something simple like Jedi Knight.

Some of my favourite games are the Jedi Knight series, and Jedi Knight just sort of rolls of the tongue.

Yes, Jahled the Jedi Knight.

Or Jahled the GIF Jedi :D:D

"GIF jedi" is more like you Jahled

swissshhhhh.....

...as La_Forge rushes by....

Dude, my skills seem more able to find them on the web, your's are supreme in their creation...

Jahled the Jedi Seeker, then..

Congrats, Jahled!

Darn, i've been gone so long that everyone is overtaking me in the post count area

But, now that I'm back, I will do something about that!

I think this is not a competition at all Anyways, nice to see you again Scath!

Overtaking you ?

I still have 700-odd posts to write to do that

And with all the new posts from you, that I saw in this general thread, it gets more improbable each day
