I am looking for a good JKII server where I can safely try my success with JKII Online. Any suggestions (I'am sort of a beginner when it comes to playing this game online)?

Dunno, depends on your ping-rate as well, cause some servers won't admit people with a ping-rate, that's too high.

 

FFA servers are usually quite chaotic. Most times people will interfere with two others duelling, or attack the survivor afterwards.

 

Duel servers seem to be the fairest. At least people can't cheat as much there as on FFAs. Last time I played FFA for ex. the Admin there froze me, just as I attacked, so he could perform his finishing move. Well, if it salved his ego ...

 

Try the different options and leave those servers, that are not to your liking.

I'll take a raincheck on that, dude21... JKII ran bad on my computer, so I deinstalled it.

And I have just a 56 k Modem so it will be lagging...

On youre comp it runs slow and on my one its lagging, so its fair

What's your name, when you play online ? I was playing on Sunday the last time, but something went wrong with my connection, so I get nothing better than 28k with my 56k on both pcs

 

I play as 'Exar Kun', btw. The name is written in black, but on Sunday I was playing crappy, due to the lag and due to my rustyness

You don't need an account to play jk2 online.

Just connect and open the mp.exe go to join server, select source 'internet', instead of 'local' and it'll search for servers.

Firewalls might hinder that at first, though.

Nope. You definately should have the 1.04 patch for playing online, cause most of the servers use this one nowadays. I tried the bloodpatch, but it's just not like StarWars in my opinion. Downloading the dismemberment patch (my site-german version) is something quite more useful in my eyes

Its Italian and tells you, that they deleted my site.

And that only a week after I had to upload it again

The best of all is, that they didn't even announce it, or bother

replying to my emails... so much about their offering 'free unlimited webspace', ts.

But with the 56k modem it doesnt go very well

lag an disconecting and so on.....

but sometimes the ping is under 300 and than its ok

Having as I don't the internet i don't know what my inbuilt 56k modem would be like.

 

So I have to play with the bots. On the hardest settings. And for once when they're on the hardest settings, they're actually vaguely challenging to beat. Only vaguely tho.

I have a nice mod that add reborns after u killed the last group

First u fight 1, after he is down 2 new gus respawn then 3 and so on

after 5 Reborns the same begin with better guys like blue reborns and shadow warriors.

At the end you go one-on-one with Tavion and Desann. I killed him accidentally the first time I played that level, cause I smashed the window and he was sucked into space
