I´ve checked all the options, gimp has to offer, but I haven´t found anything like that "image ready"-addon. The only way I can optimize a pic so far is to reduce it´s quality when saving the pic from .jpg or .bmp to .gif.

Ah, I detect where you may be comming from. I use Adobe Photoshop, with which comes Image Ready, which pre-CS2 versions was the Adobe tool to make animations. I haven't used Gimp, but I suspect it's optimizing filters simply aren't as good as the tools built in to Adobe's products (I may be completely wrong here, mind)

Anyway, I give you:

Tusken Faders, Luke didn't stand a chance if you think about it

Those pics look really fantastic. So clear.

I´ve found an addon for gimp which enables to also install addons of photoshop, but I haven´t found out how it works up till now.

Its a little large to just stick here.. so.. heres a link..

That's great! Did you make that JH or find it?

Haha, quality, that said, wouldn't you do the same if Vader decided to wave his arm at you!

That is great JH!

That´s all about the transition of the Clone-Troopers to Stormtroopers.

Did you make it?

Yep.

Edit:

Vader is also very upset about Lucas´ reedit of the Special Edition.

The whole discussion about the Wii-Lightsaber in the video-games thread made me do this:

Truely brilliant Eagle.

That light sword is a cool find Eagle. I hadn't seen it yet.

What the Heck...! http://www.cosgan.de/images/smilie/konfus/a035.gif

BTW where is Jahled?? Is he on vacation?

Zoot probably got to him...

Also SOCL and Mitth are missing. Maybe somebody made a big GIF of them.

Just been very, very busy of late Eagle matey; still am! I got a promotion of sorts at work, after giving the IT department some advice concerning some software to use for building an image library to generate money I used at Bigpictures years ago, after their own attempts to build one backfired. I'm the new 'gatekeeper' in charge of uploading new images and most importantly, meter-tagging it with relevant data. It's all up in the air at the moment, but should calm down just after Christmas.

Speaking of which, TIME TO GET OUR SEASONAL AVATAR'S OUT BEFORE TO LONG GUYS!!

Edit: Mate of mine made this:

Your talking about the christmass Avatars? Oh, even didn´t thought about that yet.

I can't believe its only two days until December. I will have to work on mine too.

Oh crap! I dont even know what I'm going to make this time. The last one was barely ready in time.

*Whistles innocently* I may or may not have saved Jahled's gif of Maul with a santa hat on from a previous year... *Whistles some more*

Ah, what a coincidence i'm spending all of day in Photoshop

Inspired of Rob´s idea of an alien invasion, I had to do this.
