The question remains whether Shmi actually conceived Anakin inmmaculately or was it just that she didn't want to reveal the true father to Qui-Gon, being afraid that his sheer horror at the revelation of her somewhat unconvential, not to say perverse taste in men would totally and forever turn him off.....
