Jahled, that kind of faceatious humour really really...... cracks me up!

Seriously though, is it the size of a Tie Fighter i.e. a few meters, or the size of a DS with wings bloted on?

Elvismiggell. Strike me down and i will become more powerful than you can ever imagine...

Gosh that was quick!!

For everybody else, you can get free web space to host what ever you want, like this hyperactive guy to my left, by reading the following i've posted from some personal email correspondance. I guess the more established members will remember the problems I bumped into with the cool guys at http://www.pixelmasher.com, got onto me about leeching their image from their website...(I didn't know any better!)

Anyway, it's ok not to know enough, or have the time, to set up your own web page! In the time fellow dude Lord_La_Forge set up his; it's an idiot-proof process...heck, I maneged it!

Check it out:

Hi Jahled,

It's very cool to hear from you so quickly. To be honest, running a site such as PixelMasher is a constant fight against things like image leeching. I know that 99.9% of the time it's unintentional and without knowledge that it's doing my site harm, so no foul on your part.

The good news is that you don't need to host an entire site - just the pictures you want to reference. If you're interested in hosting the picture (or any future pictures) yourself you can use one of many free hosts on the web. One of the biggest and maybe reliable is MSNs free hosting service. I've included a link below to give you instructions on how to open, upload and use pictures to the account. The piece is written for the use of people at B3ta.com but it should help you out enough.

Let me know if you have any problems.

Any advertising/testemonials/referals to pixelmasher would be greatly appreciated :-)

Regards,

Dave.

Subject: Your SW Rebellion message...

Sent you an in-site swrebellion message, but further reading..and understanding of your original post leads me to realize I don't know how to host the speed hopper gif. I'm really gutted, it's such a cool avatar, and suitably quirky for my demented personnality. Damn! If it's cool with you, and with all referance as to where it came from; how can I use it without shaging your cool site in any way?

I'll take it down as a mark of goodwill and respect in the meantime, hoping to here from your advice. I don't know how to host my own site.

It's rare most places, but here at SWR, it seems like everyone wants to help!

Yes, we're a tight little community, I like helping out others as much as (hopefully) others like helping out me :)

Is there any question, the best ships are the superstar destroyer and the bulwork battlecruiser. 8)
The force is strong in my family. No, Luke, I am your father.

I'm all for tradition: the regular Star Destroyers for the Empire and the Mon Cals for the Rebels.

I say "regular Star Destroyers" because there is a controversy over the ships class to either being Imperial-class or Imperator-class. You can read it at Dr. Saxton's site (second link in my signature).

Isn't there always?

With regard to playing Rebellion: SSD for the Imps and Bulwark for the Rebels. When it comes to design and stuff, however, I prefer the Nebulon-B for the Rebels...

I like the Dreadnoughts as well. I moddified them with +1 Fighter capacity and +10 TL each side and so they can carry 2 troops, 2 Fighters and are capabale Capitalships.
